November 21, 20241 yr I finally have MSFS 2024 installed. Let me say I am not a fan of the interface. Anyway I noticed it takes some time to start up. It spends a lot of time Activating Packages. I timed it the first run and it was over 5 minutes from the Xbox Game Studio Splash screen. After that it is around 2:46 minutes. My MSFS2020 with tons of scenery and planes in the community folder only take just over 3 minutes to load. November 21, 20241 yr Best so far is about 1:47 to the main screen and then I paused it while I picked a location and then started it, which then had me standing next to the plane at 2:09. i9-13900K O/C | ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero | 32GB DDR5 6000MHz Kingston FURY | RTX 4090 24GB | 2x SSD M.2 (2TB Samsung 990 PRO) 1x SSD (4TB Samsung 870 EVO) | Windows 11 Home | H20: HydroLux PRO:HardLine Tubing| 1000w PSU | Starlink WiFi

November 21, 20241 yr 2 and a half minutes. Every time. Always. Except the first time. This is because in the cloud, 2024 creates an Official folder with your gamertag associated with it. The first time you start, you do not have dedicated folder of yours in the cloud, that's why it takes so long (took me an hour). Also if the first time it boots but all your stuff is not showing in the Marketplace Library, then that folder with your gamertag was not created and you will still have long waits everytime you boot up the sim. This is why it stops at 97% the first time you start msfs, it is stopped at 97% and trying to create your official folder in the cloud. If the there is congestion it will give up and connect you without that folder having been created or just hang up and never complete. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. November 21, 20241 yr The good news is, once that folder is created in the cloud, then your connection delays are over forever. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
