50GB update for FS 2024?

Featured Replies

Isn't the entire game install 50Gb? Must be a big update!

Was only 437MB for me (Aviator, Steam)

Same for me.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

Can someone help me with the update please, I have a download speed problem

I had the same problem with the initial download of the game (took me 15 hours), same with the first update and then again tonight.

My download speed is close to 158Ko/s at best. Took me more than one hour to download the 800Mo update, while another french user reported that it took him less than one minute.

I have an internet fiber reaching close to 600 MBits/s and I don't have any streaming problem in the game, everything works fine so my internet speed shouldn't be a problem.

But for some unknow reasons, the download speed is terrible on my side.

I think it was Carenado aircraft. I was in '20 earlier and all the Carenados were updated.

sdirand, check your windows time against an internet time page. This can cause slow downloads. Which is true, but doesn't make sense to me. Mine is less than 1 second off and so I got over 200 Mbps speed (my plan is up to 400).

I use D4 (Dimension 4) to update the windows clock directly without using the windows settings which are very buggy.

My windows time is perfectly on time so it shoudn't be the problem. 😞

Thanks anyway
