December 7, 20241 yr Not sure how this is possible but it seems that once I got TrackIR working in MSFS 2024, it stopped working in MSFS 2020. Has anybody else had this issue? Very frustrating. I've tried everything. Just have the left had light on on the unit. Help!! Steve G Steve Giblin

Steve G Are you sure you did not just accidentally disable TracKIR in the 2020 camera toolbar menu? Or via the key command (don't remember what it's by default)? If so, try a game update in the track Ir app For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

December 7, 20241 yr This happens to me if I exit the sim - any sim, 2020 or 2024 - and then start it again while Track IR is running. Only the left green light will be on and Track IR wouldn't work. So whenever I exit the sim I also shut down Track IR and then start it again. Other than that it's been working flawlessly. Does this happen always, even when you turn the computer on? I assume you first run Track IR and then MSFS?
December 7, 20241 yr Author Well, it seems that the latest version of the TrackIR software that is required for MSFS2024, doesn't ( at least for me) work with 2020. I have reverted back to TrackIR version 5.4.2 and it is now working in MSFS 2020. This is so frustrating. Steve G. Steve Giblin

December 7, 20241 yr The latest, I've just updated approximately two weeks ago. I'll check tomorrow morning when I'm behind my main computer. By the way, how old is your Track IR hardware? Edited December 7, 20241 yr by Jure

What you probably forgot to do is update the TrackIR Games Database to include MSFS2024. Look thru the "titles" window and see if Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is in there. V5.5.3 of their software does work with MSFS2020. -J 13700KF | RTX 4090 @ 1440 | 64GB DDR5 | 2 x 1TB SSDs | 1TB M.2 NVMe

December 8, 20241 yr Author Went back to ver. 5.4.2 and it works. Then tried 5.5.3 again and no joy. This is for 2020. Steve Giblin
