December 8, 20241 yr Moderator Can anyone help me figure out how to reduce rolling cache size? I accidently increased it to 200 gigs, when I really only wanted 100 gigs 🤦♂️, but now the sim is telling me that I can't reduce the cache to something smaller than what I had already set. December 8, 20241 yr Close the sim out. Go find the cache file and delete it, restart the sim and see if it gives you the option again to set the size to 100gb. December 8, 20241 yr Delete the ROLLINGCACHE.CCC file and restart. it will be back to 16 gb. i7-13700KF @ 5.3GHz 32.0GB DDR5 @ 5600 RTX 3080 65" LG OLED @ 4k
December 8, 20241 yr OK ... so I deleted the rolling cache. It reset it to my original/default (great!) ... but totally ignores the new location I set for it - and carries on writing to the old/default. This gets more weird by the minute ...

December 11, 20241 yr I had lots of CTD's after switching from 16 to 700GB. I went back to 64GB. So far it seems to be stable again. I don't recommend large caches. When I flew with 16GB default, I had 0 CTD's over many many flights. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. December 11, 20241 yr I have a different problem and I can't seem to fix this. My rolling cache size is allways at 0.0, tried to change it and says invalid number, tried to change the path and says invalid path. Don't know what to do get the rolling cache to work.
