Traffic hit seems fine to me you have a 4090 so no brainer - I have 4080 - you can turn down in BATC amount of aircraft also I didn't - I haven't put BATC thru the paces yet

Getting a bunch of new hardware setup or waiting for delivery - just waiting on wingwing FCU have the rest - both efis was ordered from wingwing here in 2 days from Korea - FCU from California almost 2 weeks insane  

Yes install FSTL and BATC good to go real easy - you have to make a simbrief plan or it wont work - make plan on website then open BATC hit fly button and it done

It will remember your last flt pln so if you want to do a new one do a new plan in Simbrief and it will automatically load the latest

Of course you want to be at the airport you are leaving from - then start BATC - I think you will like it lot of atc chatter going on also - heck I would have bought it just for traffic and chatter - see planes coming and going to 🙂

Thanks for that Richard I'm starting to get excited to move ahead w/ BATC and your reply sealed the deal.  I use A Pilot's Life along with Self Loading Cargo for their scoring pieces so this will add a new level of immersion for me.

I think you will really like it Noel and it will only get better - buy the higher priced version so your locked in for all the new updates 🙂 have fun

Put it on an IPAD thats really cool - I just bought a 12.9" IPAD - felt the 10.5" was a bit small to use touch pad features and I can see it real time and not have BATC on my main screen

Take note that the higher priced supporter's pack you will only get those new updates SOONER than with the regular version. In the end the supporter's pack is mainly meant to support the developer and everyone will end up with the same version of BATC. But if you like to beta test the the supporter's pack may be interesting.

Take note that you need the payware addon Ah&Oh's for this. BATC doesn't have a native option to show the interface on an iPad.

I don't have an iPad but I do use two screens so hopefully my 2nd screen where SLC and browser live will be okay for BATC as well.

In my first flight and all's well but I don't SEE any traffic, but I hear ATC directing other traffic.  I have FSLTL models installed, but uninstalled their injector as I assumed it wasn't needed.  On the BATC settings page it look right but maybe I'm missing something?   FSLTL's injector seemed to spawn aircraft near wherever I was parked...

Only time ive had this happen is when i just copied the fsltl base models to my fs24 community folder. So i deleted the base models folder entirely and did a fresh install pointed at my fs24 community folder with the fbw installer.

I just found a guide on their site and they mention to run BATC as Administrator and I see its shortcut did not have that enabled so hopefully that's all to it.

Oh I think you need a bunch of MSFS stuff off for this to work - thats prob it - you need to shut off MSFS traffic and voices also

I have traffic off in MSFS as that was a req for FSLTL.  As I say it seems to be working as it should so far on a 3h flight just visible models are missing.  Hopefully the Run Administrator will fix it.  I wonder, can BATC continue a flight if BATC is shut down and restarted?  That is a feature in SLC that is useful.

Good question haven't tried yet - visible models missing  ? all traffic ? did you restart your pc after all of this

Yes batc can be shutdown during a flight, when you restart it, it will ask what stage of the flight you are in, climb, cruise, descent etc. once you have done that, click the headphones bottom right, select your destinations ‘center’ and announce yourself on frequency. Center may ask you to squawk new code.
