No, that no (I still do it nonetheless for 24h max, winds usually don't change drastically over a day) That's great. Hopefully historical weather will be implemented in the future - perhaps ASFS integration. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
January 14, 20251 yr Author I notice a significant drop in FPS if use Beyond ATC. I will try to lower the traffic settings but BATC eats frames like there is no tomorrow. My frames went from 20 to 30 when i exited the app on approach. I will try 20% traffic and see if that improves FPS. It’s a cool feature but you pay the price with frames.

I use BATC all the time I usually get 40 fps with ai traffic at 4 on everything.
January 15, 20251 yr I don't know what i get, since i never check my fps. Edited January 15, 20251 yr by pete_auau I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg

I have enroute traffic at 3 to prevent ATC from talking too much when on Center (which can become annoying, specially with the rather slow basic voices). Things are a little quit in the ground but that's also because I usually visit smaller airports.

You must have something else injecting traffic or it's from within MSFS itself. I'm afraid you missed the distinction: I stated when I turn traffic in BATC to OFF, they don't disappear. You're referring to when you QUIT BATC. I don't have another injector for certain, and I note traffic is being controlled by BATC. This was just tried after a new install so maybe it is working as it's supposed to now after a few flights. So when you turn off traffic in app do planes quickly disappear? Why I need this capability has to do with the fact I detest GSX's arrival marshal actions and prefer to use MSFS' and always have. Today after landing at KLAS I use MSFS ATC to see which arrival gate it directs me to there MSFS marshals will direct me in and so can convey that to BATC for guidance to that gate. Problem was today BATC had put a static or live plane in that gate so it would have been useful to have traffic removed so I could use the gate. Cheers If that really was a BATC plane (which should not happen, BATC should never inject into your assigned gate), you can use the new version of the BATC external map to simply remove that traffic by selecting it on the map and click "remove". Does that explain it? 36 minutes ago, Fiorentoni said: How do you know they are controlled by BATC? Do they talk? Because I can hear ATC talking to other planes and I can identify their liveries as correctly matching what BATC is saying if that makes sense. MSFS traffic has been off since originally installing FSLTL models and injector. Prior to installing BATC I removed FSLTL's injector outright, didn't just disable it. Rechecked this just now: turning traffic OFF in BATC does not remove the planes spawned when I started BATC. Here's where I just tested this and sure enough ATC is directing pushbacks etc: Edited January 15, 20251 yr by Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. Does that explain it? Hm I don't know the implementation, but I would have thought in that case BATC would simply remove any aircraft from the new gate. So you might have found a bug. Don't you need to have airport traffic enabled in order to see those marshals?
