MSFS2024 / ASFS / RealTurb question

Check your turbulence settings. I have a lot of cloud turbulence in appropriate conditions (cumulus clouds etc.).
You can also check the debug tab, it will always show when ASFS injects clouds turublence

Do you use any specific turbulence settings in ASFS? I’m left them at default.

Max cloud turbulence is at 100%, which seems to be default, yes.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

So Guys......if I want ASFS to render the clouds as well as inject the weather, what do I need to select in both, ASFS and in MSFS2024?  Do I turn off Live weather in MSFS2024?  If so, what should I set it to?  And how about in ASFS?  It's a little confusing this thing.  Thanks.

Sincerely,

ASFS - Sim Depiction Mode = Active Sky Preset Control

You can set MSFS2024 to Clear Skies preset before loading ASFS.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but have any of these settings changed? there's no documentation about integrating the two programs. I've used RealTurb without active sky in the past, but found it way too extreme. I've now set in sim turbulence from Realistic to LOW. Set Realturb to 20% for everything except for terrain (left that at 100%. The values in Realturb have changed to Pitch & Roll effects instead of a blanket 20-100%. I've left everything in AS to default except disabled cloud turbulence. Is this the correct configuration? TY

It installs into your Documents folder, at least for me anyway. It automatically runs when you load MSFS. Look for it in your taskbar, click ^ (to show hidden icons).

This intrigues me, how is it not counterintuitive to use 3 different types of turbulence all at once? Don't they "fight" against each other? Is it perhaps best to just use one variant and turn the other two off?

Explain it to me ☺️
