Featured Replies

Anyone seeing this?

KPNE below, no addons, rolling cache reset.

Are you on SU1 beta?

There is a known bug with texture bleed through at airports.

CPU Ryzen 7800X 3D  RAM 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 6000MHz GPU GEFORCE RTX 4090
Monitor AOC AGON AG352UCG UltraWide G-Sync @ 3440x1440
Internal Storage 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD
External Storage Three 4Tb HDs

Yes, SU1 beta here too, I see this too at most airports, and I only have default scenery in MSFS...

Also stutters that I had never experienced before. Not a big deal but they're there.

Will try to clear the Rolling CACHE and see what results I get.

Flying gliders since 1980

Flightsimming since 1992

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

Yesterday I was at NZAA, and the whole airport looked like it was pasted from google maps, with aircraft visible on the ground. I knew it was a bad idea to go for beta.

Isn't the (temporary ?) solution to this to disable photogrammetry (found in the Online settings) ? You need to restart the sim for the changes to take effect.

You can't disable PG in 2024.

I was going to say, if you can't disable PG in the sim, that would be a bit of a 'thing'.

After all the recent optimism and enthusiasm, I think I am getting ready to go 2024 now (still alongside 2020).  I think after the initial disappointment, I just need to approach it with a different attitude and just try to enjoy what we have, as lets face it, it is going to take a while to fix up everything, and like 2020, it may never be fully finished.

Can someone just answer me, is the Tobii eye tracker alright with 2024 now?  I thought I saw someone complaining about compatibility still in one of the threads.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Sorry!    Maybe after this first beta is finished.  I have a terrible longing for some of the aircraft like the Albatross and C404 Titan in the sim, and now the JF Vulcan is updated to work with 2024 also, it is pulling me!

@bobcat999 you wont regret joining the ride - FS 2024 is ASTOUDING in pretty much all aspects, even with it's bugs / inaccuracies / limitations.

I was afraid of getting into the Career mode because I knew I would probably become addicted to it... But it happened and now, I'm in for a long ride, flying missions, getting certifications, and there's a whole knew dimension to this sim I hadn't yet tasted and really makes me feel even more happy that the good old MS FLIGHT missions and activities.

Today I finally got an old HP monitor that a friend was about to trash in my "cockpit" 🙂

It's now my "auxiliary" navigation and ATC monitor, and WOW! Finally FS 2024, and I am sure X-plane 12 too, will get even more interesting to play 🙂:
