trees ruining experience

Featured Replies

I had purchased, through the Marketplace, a "Tree Height" mod that worked for FS 2020, but when I tried to push it into FS 2024 when the Marketplace was first made available they weren't available to install in FS 2024 😕

I'll have to check if they can now be installed (?)

For me it's trees on cliff tops, trees on beaches but most of all, trees on the approach to runways - aaargh, just no!

I’ve noticed that after SU2 flying over my local upland areas in the uk which were previously plagued by errant trees they’ve practically (95%) all gone now and the area now looks as it should.

A very welcome change.

Has anyone else noticed this, is it a refinement in the AI or are they chipping away manually area by area ?

I'm guessing the AI just improves over time.  I've noticed subtle little improvements on my street, and I can't imagine someone is hand crafting these areas.  I bet they keep feeding in updated data.

The photogrammetry trees are another subject - they will look bad no matter what. Nothing can be done about this except turning PG off.

Even that does not help
