April 6, 20251 yr Both Nvidia and AMD are targeting AI as the big money maker for the future, sadly at the cost of gaming GPUs. https://www.guru3d.com/story/amd-billion-move-into-ai-shows-where-the-future-lies/ Raymond Fry.
April 6, 20251 yr It all makes me wonder what the future will hold for PC gaming hardware. In an extreme case, do we get to the point where Nvidia and AMD just don’t bother with gaming at all? Then what? Arguably nvidia is already there with the extreme lack of availability for 5000 series cards. I was fully ready to shell out money for a 5090 but it doesn’t seem like I’ll even have that option direct from a retailer in the foreseeable future. I shudder to think what my options would be if my 4080 died outside of a warranty replacement period, really not sure what I would do today. Dave Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU

I dunno, maybe the computer gaming market crashes and we go outside, maybe to a park or a lake, perhaps the beach, maybe take up gardening? But for some unknown reason the local DA will not indict the dealership. They're probably in on it. April 13, 20251 yr They will drop, supply is the problem expected may and I don`t think there`s going to be a big demand after the first batch. I don`t intend to upgrade for a few FPS. Raymond Fry.
April 13, 20251 yr Yesterday I was lucky to get 99503XD from Microcenter in Fairfax, VA. When I asked a manager why don't they have it on its website, he replied that "we don't want to create a buzz". He also took my e-mail address and promised to reserve 5070Ti once it's available next week. With that being said, visiting your local computer store might be your lucky day. Prices are reasonable, not even close to those at Amazon.
