Most impressive Jetson flight demonstration yet. Astonishing, really. So stable. No hands hover.

That's really cool.

However, I can see an issue with noise pollution.  This thing is really loud, and I don't think people would be happy with someone flying these things near their houses at only a hundred feet off the ground.

I also don't think the aviation and govt. authorities are going to license people to fly these things to the grocery store or work and back, either.

Certainly, rescue services, law enforcement, and the military could use them.

Yes, I so look forward to a world in which all I hear, all day long, every day, is a loud, buzzing sound coming from the skies.  Interesting technology and I can see some useful applications, but not as a mode of personal transportation.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

This will help politicians and door to door salesmen advertise their stuff.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

Yeah, it's a noisy little guy. This idea the company seem to have of "the skies for all" is an unlikely scenario.

There's a number of possible uses, military, getting paramedics into tricky locations, wealthy persons toy, and also the scenario I posted a video about recently. Namely a guy that uses the Blackfly to access his mountain top home, avoiding a long drive up and down a mountain road.

But we aren't going to see these landing in our supermarket car parks.

The bigger guys, like the Joby, used as short range taxi, is a different proposition. We will see a plethora of those guys.

With airspace becoming more restricted you're going to clearance to fly this. Or risk being shot down.

and.... so noisy ...

Flying gliders since 1980

Flightsimming since 1992

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

Neat but this will bring with it many issues. More laws and regulation will quickly come into play.
