Helicopter Lands @ McDonalds....

You know you have been playing too long when you see the things like the nondescript colorless rectangle buildings from the air and think "Looks like MSFS".

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

MSFS2030 will get it more like that, especially the grass would look great rendered more like that.

Not sure why he landed it so far away from the Maccas, he could have landed a bit closer, playing it safe I guess

Exactly.....

Not sure where he lives or the area but, Maybe he had permission? who knows, But here in California, Thats not happening without a swarm of LE's asking questions etc......

  • Legal Requirements:
    • Landowner Permission: Landing on private property requires the landowner's explicit permission.

    • Local Ordinances: Even with landowner permission, local zoning laws or ordinances might restrict helicopter landings.

    • Temporary Helipad Permits: In some areas, you may need to apply for a permit to use a temporary helipad.

Take away the 3D pilot and the animated road traffic, and that aerial view could have been mistaken for MSFS 2020 on my PC.

Only the aerial view.  When you land, you will be greeted by trees and shrubbery that looks like it came from an alien world.  The photogrammetry in MSFS is unfortunately so very bad.  I use 2024 and I tried a landing at a local McDonald's in the sim.  Looked acceptable from the air, but when I landed, I felt like I was hallucinating.

I mean with autogen buildings, not PG.

Sometimes you just really need a burger

There's no McDonald's in my neck of the woods. So somebody I know fired up their boat and sailed 30 miles to a bigger island to get a McDonald's. 😁 With the price of fuel that was an expensive burger.

The hundred dollar hamburger, guess it's not limited to aviation.
