If I use both (or either) of those my PC crashes at 'fly now' 🤔

Same here, a workaround is to zoom in and move the map around before you click flynow

Hi, Based on what I've read and seen on video, 566.36 seem to be the best drivers as of late.

Wow, that works?  I'll give it a go when I'm back on my boat.

Doh, zoomed all the way in and scrolled around - crashed before I chose a departure!

Haha ohh well, seemed to work for me. I think it is a Nvidia driver fault though. I am on 4090. Might roll back.

Hi,

Based on what I've read and seen on video, 566.36 seem to be the best drivers as of late.

I was really tempted to ditch my 5080 and just buy a 4090 because of all the driver issues. For example, I still can't use GSYNC, I had to lower my refresh rate from 240 to 120 because at 240 I was getting a black screen every 2 minutes. Fortunately I found a fix so I can enable 240 now. Last night out of the blue I got a random black screen, no CTD but I still had to restart. Hopefully 50xx owners get a driver that actually works.

Very nice! Midlands UK on the canal network?

No issues with any of the recent drivers here using msfs2024 with an RTX3080 and a 5800X3D with fake framegen and autoFPS

Yes, we are on the Leicester arm of the Grand Union canal, based in a marina.

confirmed it is the nvidia app updated version which is cuasing issues.

i tried running msfs without relaunching the app and worked fine, once i restarted nvidia app and turned on game filters it caused ctd

Filters cause CTD for me too with FG enabled. Just disable the Nvidia app overlay in settings and you will be OK, without filters though.
