Nothing that exciting, but since I am a railroad fan I am playing: 1) Railroader. This one is still Early Access but to be honest the most addictive Train Sim I have found so far. It is more oper

The computer game industry is changing because not enough players like the new big franchise editions of well known games. And so a zillion smaller titles, like the thousands on Steam, fills the gap.

My game list is: chess. And I don't considers simulations to be games.

I just viewed a video about AI that apparently the board game GO is significantly more difficult for AI to defeat compared to Chess. Unlike chess which has 10^44 possible positions, Go has 10^171 possible positions. Very interesting. Wishing I learned about Go when I started playing chess too (in grade school).

Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space.
Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).

l learned how to play GO when I lived in Japan. Interesting game and quite challenging.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

I imagine there are Go parlors in Japan where the locals win monies from the tourists.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

When I was stationed at Yokota AFB in Japan we had a group of Japanese laborers working for us. During lunch we would sometimes play chess in the break room. They would watch us. One of them asked us to teach him how to play. He then taught the other laborers how to play. They became fascinated with the game and we would start playing with them. In a few months non of we round eyes could beat them.

I was completely intimidated by chess after (like many NY raised children) watching the players with their stop-watches playing against bystanders on random city streets. The invitation to humiliation was...... not attractive.

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.
