Nothing that exciting, but since I am a railroad fan I am playing: 1) Railroader. This one is still Early Access but to be honest the most addictive Train Sim I have found so far. It is more oper

1. MSFS 2020 (PC)
2. WARNO (super realistic ammo ballistics - as real as it gets)
3. DCS A-10C II (like MSFS but with guns 🙂  - as real as it gets)

Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space.
Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).

Lately I’ve been bouncing between a bunch of games, mostly on PC since I have a pretty decent setup. Civ VII has been sucking up a lot of my time—I always tell myself “just one more turn” and then that turns into hours missing.

New World Aeternum, MSFS2020, P3D5, No Man's Sky, Tainted Grail. ATS, and ETS. All on PC.

I'm late to the party here, but I'm really surprised nobody has brought up Satisfactory yet.

Such a fantastically well executed game. I haven't touched any other game in months because of it.

When I step outside sims I realize how biffy my system actually is, 200+FPS almost everywhere......

While barely 60 for P3D5 and XP12, even worse in VR....

I’ve been sinking most of my time into big open‑world stuff and a couple of smaller indie titles on PC

On PS5 I usually jump into quick session games after work

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

Hearts, Solitaire, Spider Solitaire, Free Cell, Scrabble and Chess.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

The computer game industry is changing because not enough players like the new big franchise editions of well known games. And so a zillion smaller titles, like the thousands on Steam, fills the gap.

My game list is: chess. And I don't considers simulations to be games.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

I play too. On Chess.com.

Been bouncing between Helldivers 2 on PC and Astro Bot on PS5, but CS2 is still my go‑to for quick sessions

I’ve even grabbed a few cosmetic upgrades after deciding to buy cs2 skins, just to spice up my loadout a bit

On the flight sim side, MSFS looks amazing on a 5080, so I can see why you’re calling this a golden age
