if anyone has any insight into where the cache file is located, let me know.  I have Chaseplane installed via ORBX , but I don't see any sort of cache file within the chaseplane main folder.

Another puzzle? Which General tab do you mean? P3D, Chaseplane...none of these programs has a General tab.

1) see my previous answer. It’s a single file.

2) It’s in Chaseplane. I’m pretty sure that’s the name of the section. Under Preferences.

Thanks Ray.  Unfortunately, deleting the cache.dat file did not fix it and the issue persists.

Raise a ticket seems to be the last option. I assume we still have support.

I raised a ticket and got 4 automated mails, stating, they do no longer support legacy products. I have it on ORBX today and remember originally got it from Oldprop but did not find any mails from my bought. So they asked (in the automated mail) for a proof of buy and I just could send them my ORBX Central screenshot. I guess that means, they will ignore me.

These options I tried at the beginning already. Unfortunately no luck there.

Has anyone tried opening a support ticket with parallel42 yet?  I'm not hopeful that they will update Chaseplane to fix the issue, but curious what they are saying about it.

yes see above.

Sometimes my mouse is moving the view. I fear it interferes somehow. Where is the mouse. I don't have it in P3D for views and not in Chaseplane.

I bought it years ago before it was hosted on ORBX. I can only suggest backing up your views, uninstalling, reinstalling and restoring your exported files.

Pretty shabby support I must say. I complained when I had to Verify Files every month. Why? I asked. Just to confirm you’re a valid user. Sounds like he was paranoid about piracy so succeeded piddling off valid customers.

Good luck, hope you resolve the problem. The mouse might be responsible. I’ll check my settings tomorrow.

Same for me. Can't remember how it transferred to ORBX. I have the NGxu737 but it's not a matter of the profile. I tried several aircraft. It's with all i tried. I just loaded the plane, again the same.

It is like something like the accelleration get's lost at some point. If I activate accelleration with the key command, it's good again. Setting the speed higher has impact on outside views but not on the VC views. 

My issue is exactly the same as you describe @blaunarwal.

Hopefully this will get attention from //42 since chaseplane is useless due to the issue.

i would suggest to others experiencing this problem to either submit a ticket on their website or via their discord server so it hopefully gets some attention.

Yes everyone should open a ticket. But certainly during this weekend we will not see any answer.
