MSFS2024 SU2 broke control settings menu, extremely slow.

Featured Replies

I was excited to get SU2 for MSFS2024 but now my Game Control menu is extremely slow. I'll sit there for 10+ sec to cycle through control options to set up a new aircraft. This seems to be a known issues during the beta. This is a step backwards and a PITA 😠. Anyone else having this issue? Is there a work around? I wish they would allow us to stay on the current version until were ready to update so we decided if it's worth the update.

Yes it was like this in the SU2 beta and was never fixed before release despite tons of reports.  I hear it's fixed now in SU3.  They had to cut off SU2 I guess and left this broken.

I'm seeing it, too. 😕

For me at least, what was there pre-update is still there, so I don't have to re-do anything.

But it will probably finally drive me to take advantage of the hierarchical control profiles instead of a full-custom for each addon.

Yes, I am having this same issue as well. And, further, my Tobii no longer works in MSFS 2024 SU2.

Just spent the last 45 minutes trying to set up the controls for the PMDG 777F. The delay was painful.

Asobo needs to fix this with hotfix this asap. It would suck waiting for SU3 official release.

... AND ... trying to remove useless/old control profiles still causes an instant CTD. They've only had four years to sort *that* one out.

It's fixed in SU3 beta, no need to wait for official release.

Thanks but I try to stay away from Betas. This was something working prior to SU2 and should have not been broken.
