Anyone living or visiting the Western Oregon or Washington state areas, should check out the Evergreen Air Museum in Mcminnville, Oregon.  They have a Starship on display outside.

I visited Evergreen in summer 2024 and it sure is a nice museum. I did not know what kind of plane N74TD was but now I do thanks to MSFS. 🙂

Thanks all for your continued interest in the Starship. Today's video and the final one of these Tech Videos, for now is now out and takes us back to when GPS wasn't a thing.  Shorter video but still

This aircraft certainly has a strong appeal for GA lovers, but being developed by Black Square puts it at the very top of any simulation for various reasons: No hasty "early adopters" (read pa

Please try downloading the latest installers (ending in ‘a’) if you were encountering the issue with the originals.

Note that this is a large EXE installer and therefore there will be a delay before the installer window pops up. If it doesn't happen after a minute or two then please contact the support team.

We are in the process of uploading ZIP versions of the installers as alternatives for those of you having issues with the running of the EXE installers. Note that is a separate issue to the one already fixed with activation.

I'll check in the MP later today since all my sim purchases are from there.

I had my plane "delivered" at Grantley Adams in Barbados this afternoon where the temperature is 30°C. When I stepped on board, the cabin, cockpit and avionics compartment were above 44°C!!! This is what Nick does, obsessed by details, to a point where I had to request the GPU to start the ventilation and drop the temperature to 22°C for the cabin and cockpit, and below 30°C for the avionics before I even switched it on.

The whole cooling process probably took at least 15 minutes with the ventilation to the maximum, during which I was browsing through the manual anyway.

I then started both engines and, having reached a decent temperature for the avionics, I flipped the switches on to start learning each instrument in detail on the ground.

Big mistake! After only a few minutes, the avionics compartment temperature was again in the red zone! In one of the previews Nick clearly indicated that the CRT instruments would go off one by one if the temperature was too high. The only remedy I found was to take off and climb quickly to 25'000 feet where the outside temperature was cool enough for the CRT to remain serviceable, put the AP ON and did my detailed cockpit learning exercise in peace.

Warning, this plane is addictive like no other before.
