Nick was sharing info about both the addon and the IRL aircraft, and V1 was saying how he was blown away by the amount of detail particularly in the Starship. Nick himself (very humbly) shared that, in his honest opinion, the BS Starship is indeed the most complex/complicated GA addon ever made for MSFS. He believes - in that regard, at least - it's peer-level to the Hot Start Challenger 650 in X-Plane. Which AFAIK, is generally regarded as one of the most complex "First Principles" flight sim addons of all time. For e.g., in another comment: he said the reason he developed all the system visualization in the EFB was to really demonstrate to flight simmers that all the systems/physics simulations are actually happening behind the scenes, even tho it's otherwise invisible to them. I'll tell ya, I was really torn between getting the iFly 737 or Starship this month, but listening to Nick has pushed me firmly back over to getting the Starship. I have plenty of under-utilized airliners, anyway 😁 I get you Urgent... not sure how I can pass up on this one with this much depth of simulation be it systems, physics, avionics, etc. And this is the first iteration, imagine what's to come in the future. I for one am glad about the likes of A2A, BS and devs like Nick, and other dev houses really raising the bar of the GA scene in MSFS! All about over-utilizing our wallets in order to have the luxury of under-utilizing a vast array of choices for our personal MSFS fleets 🙂 Len 1980s: Sublogic FS II on C64 ---> 1990s: Flight Unlimited I/II, MSFS 95/98 ---> 2000s/2010s: FS/X, P3D, XP ---> 2020+: MSFS Current system: i9 13900K, RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 4TB NVMe SSD

June 15, 2025Jun 15 Absolutely. I’m loving this “ digital preservation “ aspect of modern flight simulation. I like an aviation museum as much as anyone, but being a pilot I also find them incredibly frustrating as I just want to jump in and fly the machines and flip their switches, not just look at them. And this is why I really love flight simulation. 787 captain. Previously 24 years on 747-400.Technical advisor on PMDG 747 legacy versions QOTS 1 , FS9 and Aerowinx PS1.

For me, I have no desire to actually fly a plane or be a pilot in any way, shape or form, and yet I too can have a huge hangar of all sorts of interesting aircraft and go "flying" around in them. I mean, hedge-hopping in a B36? Cruising low'n'fast in the Bugatti over Miami? A Bell 47G around SF Bay? And nowadays in an environment that is (apart from the PG tree blobs) pretty much exactly like a (if not "the") real world? What's not to love? I don't have any other computer games or simulations (OK, one pinball game) as I'm just not interested in games or role playing. But I've always been interested in planes since my Airfix and Observer's books childhood, and to be able to do all this sort of thing is just magic. Most of what folk here are raving about with this Starship will be superfluous for me and never get used, but it sure looks purty and I'll have to clear a bit of space somewhere between that B36, the He111 and all the various Cessnas and Pipers to make room for her. And that's why I love flight simulation, but never took it up until recent years. Never been interested in moving one bit of wire frame graphics around other bits. But now, with products like this - wow! Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

June 17, 2025Jun 17 Not a GA guy or business aviation guy, but this plane is really grabbing my attention. The video presentations are great and I’m strongly considering buying it. Not sure what itch it’s scratching, but it’s definitely working! "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma

June 17, 2025Jun 17 Can’t wait for this. I’m an 80s kid, and this was always the coolest plane ever. Should be a blast to fly in the sim.
June 17, 2025Jun 17 Anyone living or visiting the Western Oregon or Washington state areas, should check out the Evergreen Air Museum in Mcminnville, Oregon. They have a Starship on display outside. If you go inside, you can see the Spruce Goose and many other exhibits. Mike
June 19, 2025Jun 19 Today is the day. But despite all the hype, this won't be a day one purchase for me. I'll spend a few days seeing what others are saying about it before I buy... ...but only because I'll be travelling for a few days from today, so I'll only be able to get my Starship fix second hand. Have fun everyone - I know this is going to be a beauty!
