Inconsistent ISP performance and or local network performance (wireless connectivity can cause this)......or inconsistent Microsoft server streaming performance. I fixed that one for you. June 6, 20251 yr I get the feeling a lot of people still think it's November 2024 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.
June 6, 20251 yr Yeah that is possible, but what metric have you used to actually determine that? Load balancing on cluster servers is hard to determine a metric unless you are on MS IT team that monitors.

June 6, 20251 yr Well ... if this is still Christopher's hardware: Quote Intel i5 7600K CPU @ 4.5 Ghz / 32GB DDR4-4200 RAM @ 3600 Mhz / 6GB Nvidia GTX 980Ti GPU Then I can understand why MSFS 2024 might not be so attractive for him ... I've ran MSFS 2024 on low settings and it's definitely worse than MSFS 2020 in that regard. BUT, with sufficient hardware MSFS 2024 can and does look better than MSFS 2020. However, the hardware cost (especially in this era of chest beating insanity from TACO) are definitely a deterrent to the platform. If you look at the sad reality of Steam hardware survey (people are buying nvidia 5060's ... OMG what a pointless expense) a PC to run modern era games/sims at high image quality is pretty staggering ... looking at $5000 min on upwards (just the PC no monitor).
