I've just downloaded it in 2020 for free - but I think there is a small charge for 2024

How did you get a Free download? I have v1 but ORBX Central is not offering it to me, they are asking for $10.11AUD on the Store page. I understand the Discount fee for MSFS2024, but not for MSFS2020.

yep seeing  this as well small fee upgrade for msfs2020

I bought it off a Marketplace sale so I can't upgrade it so I'll have to just wait.

I went to my products page - it asked me to uninstall from Library - and offered install - and it did

Maybe I didnt get the new one - i'll check

apologies !! - initially  - I did as above - but found that nothing had changed - still the old airport V1

so returned to Central and found I had to buy the upgrade for the price of a couple of Coffees
