Yes exactly! It is actually a very good addon with a pretty accurate 'flavour' of the Irish countryside as you fly over it. BTW for anyone interested in purchasing it or any other Orbx scenery, this would be the time to do it as Orbx have a sale until July 1st with 40-60% off all their products. Orbx Ireland is now $27.27AUD (normal price $45.45AUD) so about $18USD.

I have all the Orbx regional scenery areas for FSX and they are excellent although they can be resource hungry which might cause issues if you are flying in FSX with a resource heavy aircraft, although usually it can be managed particularly if you use a scenery configurator to deactivate the scenery you are not using. I also have the Orbx Global Base pack which provides a very significant improvement in textures overall throughout the world and I use  the Orbx Open LC areas for Europe, North America and South America which improve the landclass in these regions. I have not however purchased Orbx vector as I already had UTX (and Orbx Vector had some issues when it initially appeared) and I simply use the UTX vector data in Orbx areas other than their regional sceneries and the two are quite compatible.

No offense taken, i'll be brutally honest and that their is zero effort to connect the Irish-Amrican to their heritage. I was reading about athelone, thinking wow, my ancestors have been around for thousands of years. 

 

Here in America, Irish were treated very poorly, and we are not encouraged to be proud of our heritage. Conner McGregor talked about what a tragedy it is that there is no attempt to connect Irish-Americans with their heritage when he visited the US Senate.

Wow, nice to see someone who thinks the same way (or atleast doesn't shun McGregor and wise minded people) And yes, as an Irish person, it is common knowledge from my parents that brutality to Irish people was horrific. Oh and I am REALLY happy to read that you were reminded so much of your history JUST FROM AN ATHLONIAN WANTING A LITTLE PROJECT TO FINALLY COME TO LIGHT! 😄

I think you and i need orbx ireland, and we DO NOT need orbx global.

 

in fact orbx ireland is on sale for 40% right now. Orbx ireland has everything you need. 

Indeed. Oh and I put up a configuration help thing in the FSX forum, it shows my specs and if anyone knows how to tweak it, the help will be appreciated. I wanna make sure I don't make my FSX too laggy with my current configurations if I get ORBX Ireland.

From my experience orbx has zero impact on fps if anything improves it

Oh and how do you insert images? Like screenshots from your PC?

So believe it or not, textures resolution can impact and in my experience would reduce autogen in some areas. 
 

for example, on the DC designs f15, i deleted "scratched glass" textures in the cockpit, and got like a 3-4 fps boost
