I don't understand why TFDi haven't released this plane for 2024? It works fine as far as I can see? I've spent two days flying it without issue. There must be a reason but what is it?

This airplane still progresses at a glacial pace so can't say I'm surprised.

I am pretty surprised it just works out of the box though. That's cool.

I've flown it a lot also, seems to have no issues at all. I'm a bit concerned because i already uninstalled MSFS and i wonder how the updater will react whenever a new release comes up

That's why I haven't uninstalled 2020, even though I've been tempted. I keep it on my system until everything is 2024 ready.

Any solutions for the wasm crashes in 2024?

I don't get these crashes,but am on SU2 of MSFS2024. Also latest version of MD-11 1.0.59

I’ve been waiting for the MD11 in 2024. You guys saying it works perfectly fine in 2024?

I tried it for the first time in 24 least night and it interestingly worked flawlessly. I’ve only done one flight so far but didn’t have a single issue. 

Having said that I did experience quite a performance decrease despite my pretty good system which usually keeps my sim pegged at 60 fps on a 60hz 4K monitor with complex scenery and the likes of Fenix, Inibuilds A350 etc. running.

Works absolutely fine. Just copy it into your community folder. If some one could say what isn’t working I’d be grateful because I haven’t noticed anything? My guess is that they are working out how they can screw more money out of us.

This is the most disappointing plane I've bought for MSFS. In terms of price point/delivery/quality/feel, it's the one that leaves the most bitter taste in my mouth (don't worry! there's a really close runner-up!) - it feels like we were given a barely progressing alpha and it's progressed... marginally since then. It doesn't help that their P3D project management of the 717 and "commercial" side-business selling VA software has made them arrogant and impossible to engage with.

I learned my lesson years ago with the 717, but I took the bait. 😟

If they release a paid 2024 expansion, even when I flip over to 2024, I'm not paying. They've gotten enough out of me and strung me along long enough.

I also agree to statement above - During my time in flight sim, I have bought products from numerous developers and from my experience for some of these  developers based on products they released I find I don't intend to make any future purchases from them. TFDi is one of them. They released their MD11 back in July 2024 and since then developers made zero attempts in updating the bugs and errors that were reported to them. Instead they chose to prioritise visuals and sounds which in my opinion is completely useless because the systems are still bugged. They still haven't fixed their FMS to accommodate advanced navigational features, the autopilot/auto throttle needs refinement/adjustments. Many people have reported this on their discord yet the developers chose to neglect this. PW engines are still missing.... list goes on. 

I primarily bought their MD11 from my experience with their 717 on P3D. Their 717 is a lot better in P3D compared to what they have done with MD11.
