I've not had a single CTD on a public 2024 patch since December. CTDs during SU betas sure.

We can only aspire to have it as good as you. The state your system is at it’s peak and one day we all hope to have the ability and opportunity to possess your knowledge, skill, and understanding of the nuances of Windows and the programs run on it.

I don't know anything, I've just been lucky.

Back to OTHH, it looks impressive but reports are it's very hard on performance which is no great surprise from ini. Also given that this is a major hub and there are almost no videos/reviews of it yet on YouTube, I wonder if the 'no 2020' strategy is a wise one.

I confirm it is very hard on performance. I will have to disable the landmarks addon.

I get around the same FPS at OTHH that I do at most handcrafted airports, ini made or otherwise.

Was getting 30-35 FPS sitting at a gate in the Fenix A320.

Same here, no issues with performance. it is actually friendlier than OMDB.

Performance was mediocre for me. Running a 4090, 64GB RAM, and a 13900k and was getting in the 70s with the A350-1000. Was hoping for a little bit better. This was with very few VATSIM aircraft loaded in as well.

I took the plunge and installed it, found the performance very poor. Then realised that I was also streaming the old MXI design version of OTHH as well so it was loading two into the sim. Disabled that, restarted and performance was fine - I'd say on par with Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It's not FlyTampa standard in terms of modelling but it's decent, a step up from their Dubai for 2020 at least and definitely their Abu Dhabi which is quite a basic rendition IMHO especially the ground texturing and details.

If you like flying short sectors in the Gulf, I can also recommend the Vertex King Fahd Dammam airport which is quite nicely done with good FPS.
