Fooled me at first into thinking even I might be able to make this.......

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

I think you’d end up being propelled to the nearest specialist burns unit.

What this guy does is really impressive but should only really be done in a fireproof room. Thirty years ago a friend of mine who is a skilled machinist and fabricator decided that building a small scale jet engine would be an interesting and absorbing project to while away those dark winter evenings….

After several proof of concept designs he settled on an all stainless steel effort. Oh boy! It was a beautiful piece of homemade engineering right up to the moment it went - as the guy in the video says - ‘self sustaining’.

That was when my mate discovered he’d actually created a combined flame thrower/fragmentation grenade…🫣

Its these ionic plasma thrusters they build that fascinates me.

Don't try this at home, folks. High voltage, very dangerous.

When I was a kid we used to nick some weed killer from my mother's garden shed, mix it with sugar, fill a coke can with the mixture and ignite it. It was more of a rocket than a jet engine though and would shoot 20 or 30ft into the air or an even longer distance on a smooth surface on the ground if it was attached to a little trolley!

Does it have FADEC?
