There is something rather hypnotizing about the main rotors and sounds on those giants. From time to time I see CH-53's (or probably a King Stallion now that I think of it...). It'll be interesting to see how well/whether the low light / thermal stuff works in this addon. Makes for a LOT of challenging/fun flying in DCS AH-64 🙂 And it'd be AbFab if someone makes a Pave Hawk mod for this, too! Then we paint it black and LARP as TF 160 😁

AFAIK, it should remain in-trim and then gradually slide out as time goes on... Anyhow, still optimistic about this one because we really need a good xH-60 for flight sim.

I don't know the systems of this helicopter but in other models when you lose your AFCS you lose everything, in fact in that kind of emergencies your checklist tell you "hand on on your controls". The thing that let me down in this one is that they are not going to simulate the Force Trim, at least at the moment, and recomend to use a freeware one that I have tried and doesn't work well for me ( the same as the Microsoft's one, for me is inverted). This is very old information and not accurate to the release state of the product. We have, in fact, modeled force trim in four different selectable ways to appeal to different users and hardware configurations: https://docs.miltechsimulations.com/miltech-simulations-mh60/aircraft-and-systems/aircraft-systems/force-trim-system 9 hours ago, Soul Rebel said: As for this video, the creator has delisted it as there was multiple issues during his flight as result of a bug introduced on last night's SU3 Update, and it does not represent the state the project was released for the stable branch of MSFS. https://devsupport.flightsimulator.com/t/after-last-nights-su3-beta-update-many-systems-on-my-new-release-are-broken/15045
August 1, 2025Aug 1 Well, it's pretty nice so far! I need to work with the trim keybinds and such as they are not "clicking" for me as yet. So for now, I'm just cowboying it with Trim disabled in the cockpit. Flies like a helicopter that way 😉 @Miltechsimulations - nice job. Looking forward to getting trained up with this one. 👍

If on 2020, we have two different options to chose from. If on 2024, we are using 100% stock animations with the new interpolated motion blur

Might be some setting at my end that is making it look poor for me, still checking things out. Love the modelling and do not regret my purchase. Where's the best place for feedback?
