Yes idk😆😆

Its too bad, I just simply cant live with those pop ins anymore, this has became too big of s deal, espesially with all of this time used😁😁 Just bought Pmdg planes and new joystick too🤣

I think you may have pushed your current hardware as far as it will go..  Time to enjoy the PMDG planes and tune out the scenery detail.  🙂

The Aerosoft CRJ v2's offer a lot yet are very performance friendly, and you get a nice range for regional routes with its 4 variants, and some nice liveries.

Yas! The CRJ is not half bad at all. General aviation is excellent in 2024. The demanding scripts/code, avionics and everything else I dont understand really takes a toll on the CPU.

Just confirmed, when the CPU is being hammered, I get more pop-ins. Default scenery KJFK. Some pop-ins. Not the Mary variety.

When I turned everything to low and have autofps to be easier on the frames it was a lot better. No building or trees. Just a taxiway sign or two on final.

This was literally the FSX dilemma. OK scenery and default planes or crummy textures but great addons like A2a and pmdg.

I've had 2 'flights' after su16 and it's hard not to angry at what Asobo have done to my carefully tweaked and once beautiful sim.

Flight 1 : NZWR to NZAA. Poor ground textures the whole flight, but bearable if I didn't zoom (fatal mistake) or use external views. On approach the sim fps dropped to 1fpm and had to task manager log off windows to exit sim.

Flight 2: NZAA to NZTG. The sim coped with LOADING NZAA. Short flight on autopilot to avoid stutter rage during hand flying. Classical conditioning had already worked it's magic and just moving my finger to the hardware button programmed to zoom in caused a warning to go off somewhere in my brain. Rightly so... Ghastly stuff. Poppins (Mary never had this issue I'm sure) didn't even happen until I was passing objects. Oo pretty island ahead before rnav approach turn in.. Let's take a look... Oh... No.. Let's not.

No stutters this approach. Hmm... Very smooth. Wow this airport is huge I think as I start taxiing back to stand 5 wherever that is. FSHUD starts giving me directions but gives up after a mile or so. Where IS the apron?!. Oh wait I see people. In the air..... Unassisted oh. Wow.. A row of hangers just appeared 50 yards ahead. Slam brakes on. Let's head towards those floaters. Ohhhhhh... The ai planes seem to know what they are doing. Let's follow one. As if exiting a pea soup fog the airport terminal and jetways appear out of nowhere, too late to avoid but crash detection is off phew..

FSHUD has now deteriorated into a dalek like repeated scream. "Taxi to stand 5..taxi... To.. Stand.. 5..TAXI TO STAND 5!! Exterminate...."

OK time to mash the ESC key which mercifully works this time and the nightmare is gone.

i12900k 128gb rtx 4090 dedicated nvme 4tb sim drive.

I pat my pc sympathetically and shut it down, turn on my ps5 and boot up gran turismo 7 for a night race at Spa. Looks glorious. I'm not flying any more though.
