August 19, 2025Aug 19 Have any of you heard of or bought this product? It's a B737 EFIS Panel and it sells for $149.00 USD. The name of the company is Mechdiy, which is based in Hong Kong. It sounds like a good value for the money, but there are no reviews on it. I sent them a few emails, and they were quick to answer my questions about the product. Winwing would've been my first choice, but they only make Airbus EFIS panels. There are a couple of more sources out there, but the prices are way too high. If any of you have one of these, please let me know how it works. Thanks. I just saw that hardware topics are not supposed to be posted in this section of the forum, but I can't delete or move it, sorry. August 19, 2025Aug 19 Author There are no Boeing "EFIS" panels in their product list, just Airbus. I have their Boeing 737 MCP. I sent them a chat message and was informed that they presently have no information available on future products. This is actually close to our layover hotel, and there is a small, legitimate office with nice people, but it is more tailored to a few Airbus products and those Gameboy "consoles". I can't make a correct assessment, but there are some flip switches that I have reservations about. Perhaps you might want to consider other options. 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.

I asked them for a release date and was told directly "Targeting a Q3 release". Could see them by end September and they'll bolt onto the PAP3 perfectly. Jase

I have the following WINWING Products Airbus MCDU Airbus FCU/L-EFIS PNP7 PNP4 PNP3n All work very well with SimApp Pro and / or Mobiflight, the open source tool. They work just fine with my Boeing and Airbus planes, not to mention a plethora of other planes thanks to Mobiflight. I don’t think you can go wrong with WINWING and the price is quite reasonable. August 20, 2025Aug 20 Love how the OP asked for any information on the Rowsfire B737 EFIS Panel and noted that Winwing don't currently make one...... The next six replies were about Winwing including a photo of their office 😆. Amazing stuff. Anyway, I'm also curious about this company (Rowsfire, not Winwing) as they produce both a mini Airbus overhead and a larger Airbus overhead. Looking at the product it appears that using Mobiflight is going to be the best way of using the product....will be interested in hearing how easy/hard it is to setup. Hey, I actually picked up the Mechdiy B737 EFIS Panel a couple weeks back, so maybe I can chime in. First off, compatibility-wise, it works fine with PMDG 777 from what I’ve tested—no major hiccups there. And yeah, it plays nice with any sim that Mobiflight supports, which covers most of the big ones, so that’s a plus. About the knobs: The real B737 EFIS has those two-stage twist knobs (slower for small turns, faster for bigger ones), but this panel uses a single-stage setup. That said, if you hold the knob turned for a sec, it speeds up the number changes—you just have to set that up in Mobiflight’s hold settings. Not exactly the same as the real thing, but it gets the job done. Oh, and all four knobs are pushable, which works as intended with the sims I’ve tried. One small thing: The mode select knob on the real plane can’t be pressed when it’s on the far right position, but this one can. It’s not a dealbreaker for me, but worth noting if you’re stickler for 1:1 realism. As for the scale knob—real planes use a clicky, stepped switch, but here they went with a rotary encoder. I asked around, and I think it’s because Mobiflight’s button registers (4x8) can’t handle that many stepped positions. It’s a bit different, but honestly, I don’t mind it much in practice. At $149, I think it’s solid for the price, especially since other options are way pricier. No regrets so far, but your mileage might vary depending on how strict you are with realism. Hope that helps!
August 21, 2025Aug 21 Thanks for the review @markfly7 - Are you able to comment on how easy the setup with Mobiflight is? I use spad but am seeing more and more hardware coming with MobiFlight profiles... I presume thats what the are. Does this come with a profile and if so does that make it almost "plug and play"?
