I become more and more convinced it's down to geographical location and the variable quality of what Microsoft's Azure servers and/or our own ISP's deliver to us....

And if that's largely the case and it makes sense to me too, especially that last piece re one's ISP, this may portend to be essentially impossible to fix as a streaming-based program, where some will do well some or most of the time, some will have very variable performance based on time of and other factors.  And some like yours truly here, outside of Denver CO, I have incredibly consistent and good performance no matter what time of day anywhere I fly which is diverse routes on most all continents.  500-1000mbps cable internet.  Since finally being able to use frame generation w/o the heinous artifacts I had previously suffered I have amazingly stutter-free performance of the sharpest imagery it's just remarkable.  Even the 2nd screen associated judder is gone. It's absolutely best ever for me.   Maybe they will have to incorporate more local file storage to reduce the streaming bandwidth burden if too many people can't maintain decent and consistent performance.

The "negative nellies" are the ones who want MSFS 2024 to be everything that it should have been when it was released. I have seen more than enough comments suggesting that certain aspects of MSFS 202

I would like to download PG into major cities I frequent as the rollingcache.... not sure if it even works. Or manual cache.

Can't comment there as I am not using PG.  It's a net loser here...

Are those "land bars" (across many harbour and river estuary entrances) still an issue in MSFS 2024? For example, the two hideous examples at the top end of Southampton Water (directly below the runway 02 approach into EGHI Southampton).
