Has always been a fantastically satisfying addon.

Just downloaded the update and will give it a go sometime this weekend.

Regular user of this one for a long time, a very good rendition of the King Air. Nice to see the continuous improvement cycle and updates - not that I really noticed the issues they refer to as having been updated. Nice textures, high level functionality and typical King Air. It nicely replaced my previous go to King Air the Carenado BE200 (P3D etc) in XP12. The update popped up with a recent start of the sim so automated update install and fixed! Having flown the King Air for real once upon a time - this one is very accurate indeed - just like a day in the office sometimes!

Yep, much nicer, just need to update my checklist. Have asked fir the view menu to have a hide option as it messes with xcamera and its clunky, showing its age. Be nice to have side menu on tablet, but that may be a big job

Took it on a short flight.
just heading & alt hold for AP - those held steady and functioned as expected.

captured Loc for ILS just fine, and I hand flew it down GS.

New interior textures look good. Exterior also good - if anything, might be too “Liquid Metal” looking.

During the flight, using pop out panels, and other features, I remembered why I REALLY like this addon

all in all, a great flight that encourages me to give it a proper shakedown.

P.s.: I’ve begun editing my Black Friday shopping list, and TBH, this new update for one of my favorite “serious simmer” aircraft just made the list a LOT shorter. 😎

Not in the current update but according to a post over on the .org, it's on their roadmap.

The flight dynamic is spot on, that was the biggest issue for me. but now, a pure joy to fly with!

Did they overcome the right rolling tendency that plagues most prop aircraft in Xp12 since mpore than 1 yr now?

Hi King Air 350 pilots,

after a longer pause, we’re happy to say it clearly: we’re back on the King Air 350 XP12 and v2.0.0 is now ready for you. 🎉

This update focuses on three main areas:

  • 🖥️ Sharper cockpit & interior visuals

  • 🧭 Much smoother autopilot + RNAV vertical guidance

  •  More correct electrical / avionics behavior & engine handling

…and it’s the first step of a renewed, more regular update cycle for the KA350 going forward.

Thanks a lot to everyone who kept flying her, reported bugs, and pushed us to come back to it properly.

OLDER Change LOGS

 Highlights of Version 2.0.0

Visual & 3D

  • Reworked interior textures and materials for a higher-resolution, cleaner cockpit look.

  • Integrated X-Plane 12 detail textures for more believable surfaces.

  • Fixed normals, object placements and animations for better shading and more natural movement.

Autopilot & Navigation

  • Fixed roll oscillation / bank hunting in HDG and NAV modes – the AP now holds heading and lateral paths much more steadily.

  • Improved pitch and roll stability overall for a calmer, more predictable ride.

  • Fixed RNAV approach glidepath capture – the aircraft now correctly captures and flies RNAV vertical guidance in FMS mode.

  • Corrected FMS/GPS vertical guidance logic across the route/approach.

  • Fixed unwanted autothrottle activation on landing in the default FMS variant (no more surprise throttle grab on rollout).

Electrical & Avionics Logic

  • Correct gen-bus behavior – buses stay powered appropriately with engines off (e.g. in a glide).

  • Fixed external GPU behavior so it actually powers the aircraft and prevents unnecessary battery drain.

  • Reworked Battery Fail / Fix / Consequences logic for more realistic outcomes.

  • Fixed DME power logic – DME is now tied to the correct avionics bus and works as expected from Cold & Dark.

  • Fixed transponder ALT mode output – correct Mode C squawk when in ALT.

Handling & Engines

  • Fixed incorrect yaw on takeoff roll – no more “wrong-way” tendency; behavior is tuned toward the expected rudder input.

  • Corrected gust lock activation/deactivation and conditions (e.g. cannot be activated in flight).

  • Updated engine starter torque / RPM / time from 0 to IDLE based on real aircraft data for a more believable start sequence.
