Particularly like the physics section below to some GA birds, and helicopters in general (assuming typo there and they of course mean C172). I like how they are implementing the new flight/ground dynamics features (like the recent inertia related ones) in the C172 and the Extra 330. I know they usually use the C172 as an exemplar for new sim capabilities, but I really hope they continue to update the rest of the default fleet to fully take advantage of all the 2024 capabilities. Physics: С-17 (classic and G1000), Extra 330LT: Integrated full inertia tensor support, MOI recalculation fixes for aircraft weight changes, and rotational dynamics fix. Added support for a full inertia tensor used in aircraft rotation modelling via the new “empty_inertia_tensor” parameter in the [WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE] section of flight_model.cfg file (see SDK for details). When this parameter is specified, it also enables the following fixes: Fixed incorrect effect of payload stations on MOI changes. Note: if you previously compensated for this by increasing the empty aircraft MOIs, re-adjustment may now be necessary. Fixed incorrect MOI recalculation during in-simulation weight changes. Fixed several issues in rotational dynamics modelling: the laws of conservation and evolution of angular momentum and rotational kinetic energy are now satisfied with high accuracy. Increased limits for angular velocity (to 10 revs/sec) and angular acceleration (to 100 revs/sec^2). These limits only safeguard against crashes from incorrect flight model settings and are not expected to trigger in normal gameplay. Fixed self impacting build up burst of wake turbulence that would happen when helicopters were touching the ground and that would cause absorbed torque / RPM changes on some helicopters. I note that there is a new Assist that's been deployed: disabling Vortex Ring State for helicopters. Which means that helicopter VRS (a serious IRL crash danger) in the flight model is realistic enough that it needs to be optionally DISabled!!! 🙂 Loving all the improvements! And as a side, but related note, the last two addons I purchased, the Aero Dynamics T-38 Talon and the Top Mach YF-23, both demonstrate very good flight models with proper "plane stuff" happening. It's particularly noticeable in the Stick & Rudder T-38. But even in the heavily Fly-By-Wire YF-23, the flight improvements over their previous F-22 for v2020 are also noticeable. p.s., i do like th fact that Asobo are pumping some of these FM improvements into the aerobatic Extra 330. There's things that can do that no C172 could ever hope to demonstrate 🙂

Was there anything in particular you were hoping was fixed? I haven't tried the Caravan but I keep thinking I should try a turboprop and the caravan is the obvious one to start on.

For me the main problems are that the inertial separator doesn't do anything and the fact that the amphibious variant o nwheels feels like a double decker bus.

Left aileron is constantly offset (graphically), fuel switches turned On by default (MSFS2020 they were set to off) Edited December 9, 2025Dec 9 by MarcG Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1 Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

Go directly to the TBM!!! “Do not pass Go, do not collect $200” it’s gotten more attention from Asobo. And if that floats your boat, sign up for one of the Black Square turbines. The Duke is fantastic, and the newer ones are reportedly even better 😊👍

December 9, 2025Dec 9 What is going on with the 737 Max 8? if really is something wrong? The speed brake lever is still frozen although I know the spoilers are deploying. That big dome emergency light in the back turns on alone and there is no way to turn it off, making night flying horrible. Lastly, at the beginning of the flight frames are great but after sometime in the air maybe 30 minutes or more, the frames start to drop and there are lots of stutters while panning, like maybe a memory leak or something? I thought this plane would be updated and fixed. Alexander Colka

December 10, 2025Dec 10 Well I really like the 404 to fly - but (big but) the Primary ILS & doesn't work at all - the glide slope indicator is fixed & the course indicators bears no relationship the to course dialled in - also the secondary ILS indicator (for me) still just has two black lines for both the course indicator & glide slope - this is a killer for me because I really like the way it flys (BTW got a few hours in R/L on the 404) & I really do like flying the ILS by hand - usually fly eithe the Scarostar or one of the Dukes - with an occasional go in the Starship & the C 414 Rattso Cooler Master Cosmos 700M - MSI Godlike X (Devillike!!) - AMDD Ryzen 9 9950X3D (water cooled) - 128gb Corsair Vengeance 5200 D5 - ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Liquid OC GDDR7 32GB - EVGA 2000W P/S - Creative AE-7 - intel Optane 500gb - 3x 2tb M2 SSDs - 2x 2tb Samsung EVO SSDs - 1x Hybrid 2tb HDD - Brunner CLS-63E Joystick - Honeycombe Bravo quadrant - Brunner CLS-B rudder pedals - Samsung Odessey Ark 55" - G9 49" monitor
