So no, I don't think it would be feasible to ban them all. 1 hour ago, LHookins said: They probably won't outright ban ICE cars. They'll just introduce more restrictions on their use, more emission laws, more places where they can't be driven. And if they start shutting down gas stations, you won't be able to buy fuel. Or they'll simply start taxing fuel to the point where you can't afford it Maybe. Who knows.

Noisey, slow, laggy power output response (build up those RPMs), terrible traction control, A LOT of maintenance/service items, pollutes, limited power unit locations, terrible AWD capability, poor weight distribution, etc. etc. Does your criticism of internal combustion engines also apply to the engines on your wife's corporate jet? I base my question on a post you made in another forum back in October 2025: "Indeed, my wife's corporate Jet (older Cessna Citation) one engine rebuild was $800K." Please, tell us more... F1 most deadly years in the 60's (29 dead) ... Brand's Hatch could be made safer for F1 (or any series for that matter) but that takes money ... oh the irony. Silverstone IMHO is the ultimate "drivers" track from complexity of going fast. However, the absolute best F1 drivers in recent years have all gone thru Karting at an early age, I started Karting late (early 40's) ... Met several real F1 drivers thru this series. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan

That includes Senna, Vettel , Rosburg , Hamilton , Alonso , Verstappen . And drivers going back to the 70s. Senna live in a bed sit in the UK and slept in a two man tent on race weekends. Hamilton was cart WC F3 F2 WC Before F1. Since Verstappen you cannot get a super licence until you enough points in F2. Raymond Fry.
