Catch Me If You Can, the 2002 movie, had a scene with...I believe a DC-8 internally/cockpit shots, but a 707 externally if I am remembering correctly.

Ah yes it was Blue streak  🙂

  • As far as 747's go, I'm excited for the 400 and -8. I'll pass on the 747-100. When it comes to classic airlines, I'm an L-1011 fan all the way.

I am aware and got this as a Xmas present this last Christmas. Already watched the whole set twice! It comes with a really nice booklet with lots of background production information in it. Very cool set!

There's some great ones out there like the 707 stuck in the taxiway from the original "Airport" movie.

You say 707, and I can't stop thinking about Airplane! This as avatar would be the icing on the cake:

Nice! These will make for a real interesting watch ! Thanks 😊

Along with all the nail-biting (airliner) drama in the (1970) Airport film, what I also recall very well is that charming and persistent character of the lady stowaway (Helen Hayes)…🙂…who won the only Oscar for that film.

Not sure, though, if her tactics would succeed in today’s security obsessed airport environments…
