KPBI - Verticalsim vs. Glideslope

Featured Replies

I live in West Palm Beach and have flown in and out of KPBI dozens of times in real life.  Go with Verical Sim.

Forever indebted to the late Michael Greenblatt of FSGS.

While I don’t have VerticalSim’s PBI, everything I do have of his has been great, solid dev.

Same here, and I have just about all of them. Very well done.

I only have the GS one since I bought it awhile ago and didn't know the Verticalsim one was coming.  It is fine.  Looking at pictures, I'd prever the Vert one, but it isn't making me rush out and buy it.  The GS one is fine enough to not make me need to replace it, but if I had my choice, I'd always choose Verticalsim.

Pete,

Glidescope is the rebranded BMWorld/AMSim that got into all sorts of shenanigan a while back.

Up to you, but I certainly would not buy from them.

I can't speak to Glidescope past but every airport I have purchased thus far under the Glidescope name has been excellent.  I don't have KPBI so I won't comment on it.

“I have both, and honestly, there’s no comparison. I worked the ramp at PBI for AA,years ago and VerticalSim’s version is on a completely different level. Really glad they kept going with it after the whole BMWorld/AMSim situation—those just feel generic in comparison.”

Hi All - As the title says, I’m curious as to whether anyone has compared these two. I have the Glideslope KPBI, and I see that the Verticalsim KPBi is on sale now at Simmarket. I’m curious as to whether anyone can recommend if it’s worth the upgrade to the Verticalsim KPBI.

Cheers, Pete

Well, you got me Pete,

Seeing as it was on sale, I got the Verticalsim KPBI.

I have no idea what the real airport looks lile. Never been there, but this is one amazing looking rendition. Certainly in the States, one of the better looking airports done so far and I own a ton.

MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.

For the VerticalSim KPVU PROVO UT I just bought it looks just like the online pics and all the folks in the terminal are moving about and look a bit nervous.  lol

I recently got KSRQ on sale from VerticalSim. Like all of their scenery it's great. I have several of their airports in Florida and elsewhere. I had trouble getting a download and the head of the company emailed me same day with a link.
