270 fps on a lousy RTX 4090, no RTX 5090 required, just add MultiFrameGen and DLSS MFG enabler!  yes, this is not the Fenix at EGLL at 4K, but even at 1080p in IFR conditions en

  • WOW, this actually works really well. What kind of black magic is this? I'm running 40 FPS x 3 X(FG) for 120FPS. It very seldom drops. The sim is butter smooth regardless of airport or amount of

This is nothing new and is certainly not new to SU5. Frame gen for years with MSFS has operated this way and becomes inactive when you click off the sim. I run a 3 monitor setup and have dealt with this since day 1 of frame gen. Unless you’re doing a bunch of panning around when you click off the sim, you really won’t notice it.

It is new to MSFS 2024. Whilst DLSS Frame Generation suffers the effects you describe (only working on one monitor thats active) since its introduction FSR3 Frame Generation has worked across all render windows. Hence the angst on the official forums at its apparent sudden demise in the SU5 Beta.

Hopefully it will be fixed fast ; within 6 weeks I hope to finish my new DS cockpit and FSR3 is a must ( 3x 4K )

Otherwise I need Losless Scaking for the 2 side screens.

And that may work for you since you run a second PC right? But the rest of us that run triples off a single computer won't have the luxury as lossless scaling can only be applied to one render window at a time as well (as far as I know).

If not done already, I'd encourage you to vote up the thread on the official forums.....

After the latest Fenix update and using this mod, getting frequent CTD in the fenix, not happening in the pmdg's.

Any help?

How are you guys getting this to work?  I'm putting the version.dll file in the same folder as my MSFS 2024 exe and when I run the sim, the globe on the main screen is flashing black.  If I delete the file, all is fine.

I'd like to give this a try, but I'm having no luck.

I'm having the same problem - I can only get this mod to run if:

1) Frame Gen in the SIM menu is disabled/off
2) AA is set to NVidia DLSS (I use Quality, but other versions work as well)
3) Launch the sim into a flight, once in the flight, use the " ~ " key to open the Mod menu, enable FG, and force to DLSSG

With the above sequence, I do see some gains with my system, and while it's a PITA, it's worth it for me, for now. If I run AA mode as anything other than DLSS, the mod FrameGen stops. If I enable MSFS FrameGen with the mod installed, I get an immediate CTD.
