April 1Apr 1 Not sure if this is covered in other threads… https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/multi-frame-generation-for-all-gpus-game-changer/756881 This is experimental but some people are seeing really good results. Just drop one file into the folder your exe is located in. It make 3x, 4x and higher FG available on non 50 series cards. I believe there are issues with VR. This could cause crashes. April 1Apr 1 Tried it also a while back (original post on that forum is from the 06-02-26) just to see how my 3080ti would deal with. Nice (fake) FPS boost but lots of tearing and artifacts. Uninstalled. Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base & hegykc MFG Crosswind modded pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S for VR
April 1Apr 1 Author At least it is easy to uninstall lol. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro
April 1Apr 1 just tried an amazed at first sight. TAA and FG4 is very smooth, just did a 2min hop around EDDH in the Fenix. will test more tomorrow only, let's see whether it holds its promises... Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"
April 1Apr 1 Only for Nvidia gpus. LSFG (an oldie but goodie which I use since years and recommend!) works on - almost - all cards. 100% stable. Roddy says that's 'pretty oiled hot word not allowed'...whatever the word not allowed means by that... 😒 Edited April 1Apr 1 by MrLamb 'It is better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.'
April 1Apr 1 it DOES work, but is very fragile and has crashed several times after successful flights, when I tried to change some settings in the MSFS2024 menu. All I did was to copy "version.dll" into the flightsimulator.exe directory (beta 5, store version, Nvidia driver 591.86, 1080p 2D monitor resolution) 200 fps with 4x MultiFrameGen is of no value to me when I had already rock solid 120 fps before, my TV monitor does only 60 fps anyway. and VR doesn't work with FrameGen anyway. what do the RTX 5090 users say when there is now indeed a 4 x FrameGen free lunch on RTX 4090s and lower? Nvidia now has to increase fps to 10 x MultiFrameGen for the upcoming 6090! 🤣 Edited April 1Apr 1 by turbomax AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler. 60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking. very nice.

April 1Apr 1 Author The fact that people are able to get 240fps with 2080 cards makes me think that i should not be upgrading my 4090 anytime soon. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro
April 2Apr 2 240fps with an RTX 2080Ti is all very well, but it's the 11GB VRAM that really matters. Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester

NVidia app showing pretty much the same latency of around 80 ms, no matter what MFG factor I choose: 2,3 or 4 in this case at 192 FPS, LATency 77 ms. Key Features and Improvements in DLSS 310.6 (v4.5/4.6): Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation (DMFG): Rather than fixed-rate frame generation, this version enables the system to generate between 1 to 5 AI-created frames based on the scene's requirements, improving smoothness without sacrificing visual fidelity. Performance & Latency Improvements: Users report reduced latency, sometimes exceeding performance gains of older frame generation methods, particularly in titles like Cyberpunk 2077.
