May 10May 10 When the world seems crazy and all you'd like to do is take yourself back to a golden time of your life, maybe you should watch this. Maybe the 80's isn't your time, but for me, it was everthing. I got the job of my lifetime, married my beautiful wife and had two beautiful children. It was a great time the 80's... Most of them are Roswell natives and grew up on farms and ranches. But I was a city boy. The entire city of San Francisco was a playground for my brother and as long as we streetcar and cable car fare. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
May 14May 14 For me, the 1980s were spent in the Pacific, Japan, and the Far East generally, especially Singapore. People don't believe half the stories I tell them, but the memories are mine. Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org
May 14May 14 Me too Paul. But a couple decades earlier. I never got to Singapore though.Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
May 15May 15 I miss the 80's, it was a fantastic decade, at least for me. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
May 15May 15 The 80's were terrible! Truly the decade style forgot. It's like, you thought the 70's were bad - the 80's were absolutely shocking and yes, they were probably my heyday too. The yuppies, the clothes, the music, Thatcher! Awful decade! 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base
May 15May 15 I was a teenager in the 80s and have mostly fond memories of that time.Good music, good TV shows and movies, good fun, and no smartphones or cellphones needed.I remember my first flight simulator when I was 13, Sublogic Flight Simulator II. It still amazes me how much I enjoyed that when the scenery was so crude. You had to really use your imagination back then to make it enjoyable.Dave Simulator: P3Dv6.1 System Specs: Intel i7 13700K CPU, MSI Mag Z790 Tomahawk Motherboard, 32GB DDR5 6000MHz RAM, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Video Card, 3x 1TB Samsung 980 Pro M.2 2280 SSDs, Windows 11 Home OS My website for P3D stuff: https://sites.google.com/view/thep3dfiles/home

If I had to go back, I would miss modern tech, especially as it relates to flightsimming, as well as lots of other movies and TV shows that came out since then. I guess I miss the way the country was back then. Can't elaborate here, but IMO a lot of things were better, apart from the crime in some areas which was pretty bad.Dave Simulator: P3Dv6.1 System Specs: Intel i7 13700K CPU, MSI Mag Z790 Tomahawk Motherboard, 32GB DDR5 6000MHz RAM, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Video Card, 3x 1TB Samsung 980 Pro M.2 2280 SSDs, Windows 11 Home OS My website for P3D stuff: https://sites.google.com/view/thep3dfiles/home
