Good Regional Jet Option

I am very interested in the JustFlight Fokker 70/100 package. Those two are very definitely regional jets, and they seem to fit right in my sweet spot as far as screens/dials/autopilot/FMS are concerned.

same. but I don't consider them regional jets either. Atleast American Airlines considered them mainline.

Well, I can only speak for Austrian Airlines over here in Europe, they were doing a lot of 20-60 Minute hops with the Fokkers back in the days.
Routes, which are more like trainline nowadays 😀

The Bombardier CS100/300 (oh, sorry......I mean the Airbus A220) is a nice plane, but I am not a massive fan of these new flight decks with massive screens, and love affairs with EFBs.

These machines are loved by the pilots flying them. I recently had a seat in a simulator and it looked great.

I never considered the Maddog regional jet

Me neither, it’s a short haul airliner operated by mainline, not a regional jet in my mind.

Consider the Fokker F28 from Just Flight, a classic with many variants too.

Looking for a good Regional Jet to add to my Hanger. Flights 1 hour or less north american routes. Thanks for any help. Don't know much about regional jets so not sure which type.

Any jet can do short hops - it just depends on whether you have enough pax revenue to justify it. There are short 1-2 hr 777 flights in Japan, for e.g.👍

The real advantage of a smaller jet, IMHO, is its ability to use shorter runways and thus open up more airport destinations.

In that vein, my fave for flight sim is the JF Avro RJ (“Regional Jet” is literally in its name! 😁).

Alternatively, the PMDG 736 has good short field performance, esp if you go for accurate fuel weight.

You could take a look at the Aerosoft CRJ, which is decent/good, but too expensive given the mid fidelity systems IMHO.

If you want “just one”, the Avro RJ is solid 👍
