iFly 737 Max version 1.1.0.0 is out now

Ah hah, turns out there was a misunderstanding about the simbrief profiles and they in fact did not all get turned on correctly, thanks to @pmplayer for that heads up. They should be available shortly. In the mean time, they're pinned for download at the Flight1 discord for anyone who's on there.

This comment doesn't really make sense. SP1 was never going to be native 2024. That was communicated very clearly on the roadmap after initial release. SP1 first, native 2024 next, Max9 and furthe

Also worth remembering: any time you install a WASM aircraft, it's a good idea to not try to fly it off the first load. Load up on the ground somewhere, and then exit back to main menu and load the fl

  • Very happy with this SP1. EFB awesome. Hand flies very nice. Systems seem spot on. Performance really good too. My new Boeing favourite.

A big wish of mine for this update (may sound petty but I know shared with many on discord) was for the flap axis to be like every other aircraft I own, so that I can use the detents on my Bravo provided by prosimdesk. Alas, no! Not sure why the axis seems “off” compared to everything else and there is no option to calibrate it either.

Very happy with this SP1.

EFB awesome.

Hand flies very nice.

Systems seem spot on.

Performance really good too.

My new Boeing favourite.

Thanks, found the new profiles, they saved now and doeing a flight right now; by the way, great SP1, with some weather radar new fine EFB and Send data to the CDU is just a big step forward IMO 🤙

cheers 😉

Seem to have a problem here. I went in and loaded the MAX, the cockpit was frozen. Every warning light was illuminated, the EFB's were both on the window postions and in front of the panel and the mouse cursor could move but not click on any of the switches. Exited and tried again, same thing. Any idea what the issue is?

Strange. Panel and route saving were tested pretty extensively and seem solid. Not sure what might be going on there.

As far as perf data, did you click the button to read MSFS data for runway information?

Note that selecting takeoff thrust in the EFB is just for calculations; you have to select your thrust rating and assumed temp in the N1 page of the EFB. Reduced thrust takeoffs work correctly.

Curious, 2020 or 2024? Turbulence settings? I've never seen any fishing with VNAV, it's been rock solid since the original re-tune months ago.

Morning,

After two reboots in MSFS 2024:

The VNAV issue is gone, as well as the thrust rating issue

Remaining issues:

1) Cannot save a panel state or fpl. I just checked the file permissions, and no issues there.

2) Regarding performance data, whether I click "read data from MSFS" or not, I still cannot select a runway. For example, before taxi, it was planned for KJFK 22R, then a runway change to 22L. Before any changes in the FMC, I want to run a runway analysis for 22L, but I cannot enter/change data.

On our tablets, or Boeing FMC, and before this update on the original release, I could run any scenarios, any runway, and data changes without the need to "click the button to read MSFS data for runway information"; it was part of the NAV DATABASE.   I can't understand the idea behind this feature.

Other than that, the aircraft flies solidly and is very realistic, as far as I can see.

I figured it out, I was loading it with a livery from the old pre-SP-1 selected. When I loaded the updated livery, the issues went away. Took some time to play with the new EFP, I've very impressed. The EFB is very intuitive, nice having all the ground services options available graphically on the EFB instead of having to deal with GSX. Very easy to enable Navigraph and Simbrief. I see that you can now select panel states other than just "cold and dark". Which option would best represent a jet at the gate between turnarounds?

One last thing - just playing around in the cockpit, noticed I can't turn the flight directors on. Not sure if this is because I hadn't fully loaded the flight plan or not? The switches refused to move when I click them.

Also, for the life of me, I can't find the forward, sliding sunshades. Where are they hiding?

Well, based on my first flight - it's got my vote! 🙂

The EFB is so so so so so much easier to navigate without taking anything away from the challengingly precise way the aircraft and systems need to be operated. A very pleasing and welcome upgrade.

I agree, but you know that you can't please everyone. I found no faults with the 2024 version of the plane except the FMC's don't pop out. Have anyone able to get them to pop ouy?

just had this in a new livery for the flight director and also auto throttle. did just delete the wasm folder and will it recompile next time FS2024 starts and see whether that helps

another thing, sorry if I missed that and please no RTFM: how do I import from Simbrief? Found the import for downloaded plans but is there a feature to load it "online" right away?

Once you load the simbrief plan into the EFB and send to plane, it is available to import and load into the FMC's That's what I do.

General question on the MAX - when you select one of the liveries, does that also adjust your control panel options to replicate what the real airline uses (ie HUD, landing altitiude call outs, FD style)? Or do I have to find out what options a particular airline has on their jets and then go in and manually make the changes?

Just completed a full GMTT - LPPT flight.

Amazing !!!!

It's getting to top in my MSFS 2024 addon list !!!

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

I de-installed and re-installed the update. First, the EFB is not displaying. Just the power cord!

Second, none of the switches, buttons, controls work. I can't even open the cockpit door. If this is a wasm issue please advise what I need to do with that folder. I loaded up the plane the first time and it did this. So I left MSFS 2024 then loaded it up again and loaded the plane. Same issue.

I subsequently deleted the WASM folder (why is it still in the MSFS 2020 folder?) and re-loaded everything but again the same problem persists.

Did you activate the 2024 plugin?

But I can only load a previuosly downloaded flightplan? So there is no API to pull the flightplan straight from my SB account like the Fenix, AS 340 or Ini 350 do?
