Sadly I won't be able to watch the game on Monday as I need to be up early for a 200 mile drive to a 10am funeral but I doubt both eyes will be fully open before I've checked the score when I wake up 😅

I would of taken Rashford off a lot earlier. One, if not the most overated players in the team. I imagine the sponsers had a quiet word to make sure they played him from the start.

ive got a teams meeting planned for friday morning to look at the weekends standby coverage for the weekend, following into next week.

London Pride on the 4th and 5th and then the late game on the Monday. Coverage will be shocking all weekend and into next week.

I pity the guys working in IOCC this weekend and Monday night

I would not quite say that. Jude Bellingham was very unlucky not to score, and the DRC goalkeeper had a spectacular night. As for Mexico, England will need to be careful. The main consideration is the altitude. In fact, I would even suggest that playing a World Cup match at that kind of altitude is not really fair to those players who do not live there. I am not making excuses prior to the match, but the oxygen levels at 7000 feet are significantly lower than at sea level (about 24% lower). A team whose players are used to this surely have a rather big advantage?

That is one hell of a mountain to climb and it backs up my claim that Mexico have an unfair advantage when our players have no time to adjust.

As for the football, namely the Mexico game... Apparently they have only lost two of their last 80 games. And at the stadium where we will play them they haven't lost there in 8 years..... Gentlemen, we are screwed!
