Tuesday at 02:12 PM2 days Hello everyone, as the thread title says: do you keep all the boxes in which your rig components come, or do you throw them away/donate/repurpose them?I have the whole case box filled with the keyboard, mouse, RAM, GPU, CPU, cooler, PSU, wifi card, motherboard and controller boxes inside. This weekend I'm moving to a new apartment, and I see the box-of-boxes takes a lot of space I'd rather use for something else. But then I see the boxes inside and then I think I should keep them, specially for moving or upgrading. What are your thoughts on this? Best regards,Luis Hernández Main rig: self built, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D (with SMT off and CO -50 mV), 2x16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM, Nvidia RTX 5060Ti 16GB, 256 GB M.2 SSD (OS+apps) + 2x1 TB SATA III SSD (sims) + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (storage), ID-Cooling SE-224-XTS air cooler, Viewsonic VX2458-MHD 1920x1080@120-144 Hz (G-sync compatible), Windows 11. Yesterday at 06:32 AM1 day I have kept a handful of them to store bits and pieces. These are the Corsair RM750x PSU and Noctua NH-U14S boxes from my old PC build, and the Gigabyte RTX 4070 Super GPU box from the new PC. I also still have the box for my current CH Flightstick Pro joystick. Yesterday at 08:44 AM1 day Used to. Now with the ridiculous prices, i gave up on upgrades (don't need them anyway) so i just threw away the boxes since i'm not going to sell anything soon. 17 hours ago17 hr Some I recycle, some I keep.I keep boxes for products I think might possibly require an RMA before the warranty is up.I also keep boxes to store some spare components im keeping, like PSU, motherboard etc. Old components are useful for troubleshooting.
