September 21Sep 21 Actually looks quite impressive. A multi-crew simulation is something that I think is really overlooked. I can't fly an airliner like the A380 single pilot. Totally kills the immersion for me. I always use third-party software like Flight Sim First Officer or FS2Crew. To have the system built in is pretty cool.
September 21Sep 21 Author What I didn't get from the vid is if it's a full a380 simulation or just the Crew Cooperation module for a particular A380 (fbw or Inbuilds) ? You can do all stuff alone in the A380 just fine, even following real life procedures (obviously doing the FO stuff yourself). It's a very automated airplane and there's a reason Airbus tried to make the A350 (which is just an updated A380 avionics suite) single-pilot.What would kill immersion much more for me would be a FO that just follows the script no matter the situation, like it usually happens with FS2Crew etc., and that I would have to work around ("No don't turn the seat belts off, it's a thunderstorm, I will have to turn them on again"...) I don't want to be doing the FO stuff myself. An A380 has never been flown with a single pilot and never will be. Doesn't matter how automated it is. Thing is, cockpit procedures are very scripted by design. If nothing goes wrong, every flight should follow the exact same patterns with the same flows and checklists all being done at the same time. FS2crew does always ask if you would like the belts turned off. If it's rough, just ask the FO to turn them off later. Edited September 22Sep 22 by james42

And do it right before takeoff instead?Or can it handle to leave the A320 in flaps1 on very hot days after landing? September 22Sep 22 Commercial Member Hello all,The idea behind this feature integrated into the EFB is to make the flying experience more fun and immersive. The MSFS community has many different tastes and things they look for in addons, this is an option. In fact the way this is integrated also allows for setting up how intrusive the FO can be, and whether or not he says the FMA callouts or does flows. It started as a way of improving the cabin announcements, to making them more dynamic based on the flight and flight conditions. We did a bit more than what we expected all the way to enabling real world failures based on aircraft handling. Coupled with how the flight crew and passengers respond or react to simple things such as departure time (being late) or not avoiding turbulence. Its a way to keep the flying interesting for some people. We hope this is released next week as an update to our A380. Some commented we did this because of the other recent A380 release. No, actually we have months working on this.Thank you all! Edited September 22Sep 22 by LVFRicardo

If it detects freezing conditions, the FO will ask if you would like to leave the flaps up for taxi. If it's 30c plus, the flaps are indeed left at 1 with the A320 series. You can also tweak It to match your favourite airlines sop. Let's not hijack this topic anymore. Feel free to dm me if you would like to discuss fs2crew any further.
September 29Sep 29 Big Update Today On MP. It Appears Elevated Is Released. Cant Link Discord Copy Of Change Log. Many, Many Pages. YMMV. TANSTAAFL Blue skies,-B Edited September 29Sep 29 by btacon
September 29Sep 29 And the Elevate portion of the aircraft can be found in the Operations section of the extremely well done manual. YMMV. TANSTAAFL. Blue skies,-Bhttps://latinvfr.com/pages/a380-beginner-tutorial
September 29Sep 29 And some Google AI to finish my thoughts. This series of releases by LVFR seems to have caught everyone by surprise. I see big things ahead for LVFR and for Flight Simulator 2024. Blue skies,-BLatinVFR (LVFR) has introduced its "Elevated Update" series for its aircraft lineup in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. This initiative bridges the gap between simple, mid-tier add-ons and more complex airliners by significantly upgrading systems depth and graphics. [1, 2]The core details of the LVFR Elevated program for MSFS 2024 include:🚀 Key Features of the Elevated UpgradesEnhanced System Depth: While LVFR traditionally creates accessible airliners that sit slightly above base game difficulty, the Elevated updates add much deeper avionics and aircraft systems. For example, upgrades include multi-independent MCDUs with fully operational scratchpads and deep flight-planning integrations. [1, 2]MSFS 2024 Engine Capabilities: The upgraded aircraft leverage the MSFS 2024 physics and rendering engines. This includes native CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) aerodynamics for highly accurate lift and drag. [1]Dynamic Weathering & Effects: Planes feature advanced paint rendering and environmental reactions, including progressive airframe icing, snow accumulation, brake grime, fluid staining, and tire wear. [1, 2]Full Career Mode Integration: The native MSFS 2024 versions are optimized for the simulator's built-in Career Mode, allowing you to fly them for scheduled commercial airline services. [1, 2]Advanced Electronic Flight Bag (EFB): The updated aircraft come equipped with powerful EFBs that feature SimBrief flight planning integration, Navigraph Charts compatibility, live weather, and interactive performance checklists. [1]✈️ Featured Aircraft UpdatesAirbus A380-800 "Elevated": Released natively for the MSFS 2024 Marketplace, this aircraft features massive visual overhauls, dedicated cabin areas, performance optimization to minimize stutters, and unique regional environmental visuals like desert dust for middle-eastern variants. [1, 2]Airbus A330-900neo V2: A major upgrade path that refreshes the avionics into a deeper, modernized simulation while keeping an optional "legacy mode" for players who prefer simpler operations. [1]Airbus A340-300: Released as an advanced native version that fully implements MSFS 2024 features like pre-flight engine covers and ground crew/passenger models. [1]💳 Upgrade PolicyIf you owned the older MSFS 2020 versions of these LatinVFR aircraft, you can still import and fly them in MSFS 2024 at no additional cost. However, accessing the fully native "Elevated/Advanced" features (like career mode compatibility and the updated avionics suite) requires purchasing a small upgrade fee via the in-sim Marketplace. [1]Are you looking to upgrade a specific plane you already own (like the A330 or A380), or are you deciding which LVFR aircraft to buy next for your MSFS 2024 Career Mode? Let me know so I can give you exact pricing or feature breakdowns!
