  1. Hi,Well yes and also it is always better to have more empty room in the hardisk, Hardisk perform better when half is empty. Also dont forget to defrag after installing.
  2. Hi, Did you use the license From asa or ase?see this threadhttp://forum.avsim.net/topic/356582-license-key-invalid-as2012/
  3. Hi,When you start using certain features like recoloring, creating new variations, and/or snapshots, the size can really increase alots, so extra free space needed.
  4. HI,Nice reports, it will take a bit time, for complete depth testing, this requires weeks. For clouds, the resolution at default are set at 1024x1024 not 4096x4096, as for complete sky coverage , this is mostly related to the metar and how As2012 handle it, not the texture, you need to have different metar to acheive this, clouds, shape modeling and formation are related to the metar not texture.Ps:Using 4096x4096 cumulus seem increase a bit more coverage with brokenovercast
  5. Hi, Yes, no matter how you get to ase with the valid license, you will have the discount
  6. Welcome,Nice, thank you, we did put alot of time on how the clouds and thickness should be in real flight in all condition also, those transparent clouds was making problem to us, until as2012.
  7. Hi Martin ,Yes it replace ASE and improved on many area + complete graphics that AS wx engine inject these according to the wx condition.
  8. Hello All,We have implemented some new compression techniques to keep the footprint smaller (and the download smaller!) than the traditional system used by other graphicsscenery add-ons. The uncompressed size is over 16GB (raw imagery) but the typical installation will be under 5GB total HD space, The Download size is about 3gig. When you start using certain features like recoloring, creating new variations, and/or snapshots, the size can really increase.
  9. Hi, Fot 3rd party aircraft, there is spotlight sets specialy made for some 3rd party called:Landing Light for 3rd Party Addons, you have to use this and not the other one.
  10. Hi, Some users may prefer a lighter/more transparent haze effect so we have provided two Cirrus Overcast textures (Cirrus Overcast 4 and Cirrus Overcast 5) with such lighter effect. This may improve the appearance of these haze layers especially when it intersects with mountainous terrain. To use these textures persistently, select and install Cirrus Overcast 4 or Cirrus Overcast 5, and after installation of textures, prevent Cirrus Overcast installation via the Advanced Options (uncheck the Cirrus Overcast item). This permits normal randomization/wx-influenced/manual selection of all other categories while keeping Cirrus Overcast locked as selected before the advanced option change.BestChris
  11. All sky sets in Xgraphics are soft horizon unlimited to the most restricted miles
  12. to fix this, download X Graphics - Build Number: B301 Service Pack 4 , here http://www.hifisim.com/support.php, just select the new added set; landing light for aircraft addons.
  13. HI, It was in the XG update, (updates are cumulative), http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=195289
  14. Yes, but I was trying to told, there is 3 special set of landings lights for addons aircraft that are in XG, are based on default FSX spotlights texture to works with some 3rd party aircraft addons, and these use the same lights intensity like default ,, but you have choice of color too and no need to backup the original one.
  15. For the landing lights to be compatible with some addons aircraft, you have to select the set called, landing lights for addons aircraft, install them, after uncheck them in the advanced install to not be replaced for future sessions, also uncheck the landing lights in advanced install will not install the landing light and use the one that you have. This fix was available long time ago.
