  2. My own folder set up (it works on my comp) is on my private website sheza.net. If this does not work then let me know. I may have to do something drastic :-bat.I never really invested a lot of time on the ground textures at LGA2004 as this was supposed to be a project in which I wanted to experiment with the default textures only with some ramp inserts. It was not very pretty but acceptable as long as the buildings were realistic.I actually began overhauling the ground textures of LGA recently to at least build in some decent looking ground there but this is a work in progress.Also the more detail one puts into the NY area the worse it gets for fps performance (as evidenced by the discussion on the new KEWR scenery). I know some users still had trouble with fps at LGA2004 but it was the best I could do considering the detail of the surrounds. There are things users can do like remove the trees for eg. to improve fps. I run an AMD XP3000 ATI X800Pro and get fps in the 20s with max out on graphics 6xAA 16xAF. However with full AI the roof caves in and it goes to 15.Current projects (slowly developing) KONT (80%) and KLGB (85%).RegardsShez
  3. I had this same issue with my KCLE scenery. It appeared to be caused by an earlier version of scenegenX. When I recompiled with the newer versions it was OK. I think the problem was to do with the ILS of the runway.Shez
  4. I have heard of this problem before and the reinstallation procedure seems to have worked. Maybe if you download it again and reinstall?The only reason this would happen would be if the corresponding textures were not in the texture folder. You can look and see if you have ramp-like textures in the texture folder. If they are there then write to me and let's see what can be the problem.Shez

  11. I just saw a pic of LGB at airliners.net and it appears all the McDD buildings have been torn down except the B717 building at the NE end. Appears to be a large dirt mound now.I guess I will just do the same.I would love to have some pics of the current state.Shez

  13. Thanks for the reply, I was updating KLGB scenery when I came across some recent pics showing the large factory/hangar buildings on the northern part of LGB in partial destruction stage. Was wondering if the entire northern McDD area will be leveled so that I may depict this in the scenery. I just heard the last B717 has been built so does that mean conversion of the facility to something else? or empty tarmac?Maybe next time you are there you can get me a pic? or if you are able to see the area let me know what is there currently.ThanksShez

  15. For anyone living close to KLGB, can you tell me if the demolition of all the old McDD factories/hangars has been completed and which of the buildings are left standing. Also what are the plans for the these buildings?A current pic would be ideal :( ThanksShez

This only works when using VTP polygons (DXT1 textures), I think it will not work on GMAX ground especially if you are using the higher resolution textures.I use GMAX polygons extensively and I do not think there is a solution for this except for replanting trees with any number of the programs available (TreePlanter, etc. etc.).Shez

  21. Aha! I completely forgot to mention that the DCAr_EX3 file has to be removed too....this one was the original exclude file. With the change in the structure of bgl files coming out of the program Airport for Windows the exclude files are now contained in another bgl so I missed the original exclude file. When I release the fix it should also take care of this anomaly.Also I will also remove the original ILS so that it does not conflict. I might keep the LDA (opionions on this?).Thanks all for testing this.Shez

  23. Actually the fix only wipes out my addon bridges. It should not wipe out any default scenery bridges.Shez
