without casting judgement.. the basic logic goes.. the lower the res size, the greater the improvement on FPS. Frankly, it shocked me quite a bit to see the res at 4096 pix!

what do you use to move around in the vc like that?

you do realise Mike, that your configuration can easily be considered to be pretty high end, even for FS users normally! If i were to honestly invest that kind of money into a rig that equals or surpasses your specs, I would at the LEAST expect the kind of frames you said you get. Having said that, it's still a nice shot & good on you for the frames you're getting! :)

^^ i meant it wasnt included in the paints i downloaded from Tom's server.. he apparently didnt have the correct panel settings/xml gauges in his packages. Thats what i meant when i said it wasnt included in his paints!nevertheless i get what you mean. it's probably easier for a thorough programmer to make the transition to creating custom gauges or tweaking existing ones like yourself (my opinion based on limited knowledge of xml)

not that i couldnt.. rather i didnt realise it. When you pointed it out.. i looked up to see it wasnt included in any of the paints.Doesnt help that POSKY's library is a mess with so many SP's and updates put up.. but there's no pointers for whats where exactly and whats the latest version. Please dont mistake me for a noob.. if thats what you think

Any idea how to rectify it? the whole list of updates/SP files on FSPro are really confusing and i cant seem to figure out where the base pack is!infact i've been searching for the POSKY .fx files as well

Firstly thanks for the update to the 744 FS9 product, however i would like to know if anyone else is experiencing an unusual lack of response to nose down (key 8 on the keyboard) commands during the takeoff phase of flight?Even with the aircraft properly trimmed for takeoff, immediately after takeoff she does not seem to respond to nose down pitch commands. I do not recall experiencing this prior to the update..

thanks daniel... will check it out..and yeah Andrew i hope ur calculator is accurate for the KG version... since a lot of airlines use kilos instead of lbs... i know LH does... and i was on the lookout for one to convert using kilos... saves the time on the manual calculation

tell me about it.... i havent got her off the ground in 3hours with her in the sim... getting her properly set up is so challenging :)infact if any of the good ol experienced mates here could share some tips or pointers in the normal flow of things to make it a bit more clear for us would be more than welcome :)
