Chris...No idea but I was not using time acceleration. Also, I stopped P3D reloaded the tutorial flight from scratch so it was a completely new environment....It is either the aircraft configuration (I downloaded repaints only from the PMDG Operations Center) or something I missed in start-up or flight planning. I want to recreate so that I can understand and then share with everyone...

All, I have gone back to the tutorial flight. Flew it just as specified. It almost killed me :) But the PMDG 777LRX flies perfectly smooth. I now wonder what step I left off that caused the effect I am seeing

I am having problems with the P3d V4 777. I continually get rocking (slight up pitch and then down pitch) while flying with AP on VNAV and LNAV at 31000. This is the 4th flight same thing. Can anyone help me that has experienced this. I noticed that happened in 2013 a lot. I can't find anything on this in the forum. I do appreciate the help. Update: Bounces between 30000 and 32000 can stay at Alt set of 31000. Tried to unplug joysticks still continued to rock, No weather loaded, No trim axis assigned to joysticks. Mark T. Masterson

Made by FSDreamTeam in P3Dv3 if you flew PMDG or other Study aircraft to this airport then sometimes you would have VAS issues. With PD3V4 you can view one of FSDT's best. Memphis, and IAH i my opinion are very high quality. Now with no VAS issues, it is heaven.

I can not even run the installer. It keeps giving me an error that "You must enter a name" then "Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window" I re downloaded it. Without Virus protection.. Has anyone seen this and have a workaround. I posted on the Taxi2gate Support 3 days a go and don't get a response

I am on a flight between KSFO (FlightBeam) and KIAH (FSDreamTeam) with all that ORBX has released and the IFly737-900er United. Wow. Great and smooth. I also own PMDG (All of them) and I don't want to get into a comparison between them but P3Dv4 is unbelievable! IFly was smart to get theirs out first. I am sure sales at Flight1 are good. Lower cost no-OOMs what else do yo want.

Elaine, Thank you for your simple guide. Smooth as ice...just like P3D. I already loaded the iFly 737 that I have not used in over a year since I went to PMDG. Works perfectly. I am in Sim Heaven. Now I just need to keep everyone away from me so I can fly.

All I can say it runs smoother and no OOM. Taxing your system is dependent on how far right you push you sliders, and where you are flying if you fly in NYC or West Coast with all Orbx then take a step down. I have mine at one tick from the right and I get 19-20FPS FSDreamteaM JFK. My video card does not get too hot or my CPU. However, I have a two year old system I6700K 32MB Ram and a new GSX 1080I video card.

I just flew into KSFO from KDEN in the PMDG 747. I have the 1080I. Frames over the mountains were 70-100. Dropped to 20-30 while landing and at Flightbeam KSFO with FTC NC I am getting 40. I would have OOM in Ver3. No bluries, no popping....smooth as ice.

For those of you that either stayed with P3d v3.3 or rolled back you will get a message that you have to upgrade to 3.4. I choose since I lived the OOM world to just load P3D into Ver4. I ran into this and wanted to share. Robert you and your team ROCKS

As I have said in another post. The efforts that LM and P3D team to prepare for this release blows my mind. Now with Orbx releasing the FTX Central P3D v4, I have the environment that I could never run on P3D V3 because I would get OOM. I spent more time disabling scenery so I could save VAS. Everyday this proves to me that this is the platform I want to be on. Thank you to all the Devs that support this. Don't listen to the complaining and keep on keeping on :)

When we look at the cost of product, think the amount of "learning" you can get for $60. A local simulator is 250.00 per hour. Going to a movie with 4 and getting popcorn is $60.00. I guess I look at the future and the amount of knowledge that I gain. $60.00 is nothing

I have been flying FlightSim since the first version, then Sublogic, then back to FS. I have X-Plane, FSX-SE, and P3D v2,3. I have to say that the Lockheed Martin team hit it out of the park with V4. 1st day I have 80% of my scenery running. I did not have to buy new scenery. Wow! is an understatement. Yes I wish I had my tube liners but with everything working smoothly out of the box. No issues and I have flown for several hours from many airports. All I can say is the future is good.

Glider, I just took off and landed from it. I had no Coutle errors. I did follow Poppets clear instructions on installation so that I would not get any security issues.

LatinVFR KSAN, KSNA, TJSJ, KRDU, and KMIA works. Just need to point to your old P3D V3 version and it will load.

Flightbeam Rocks to be first out with new installers. All except for IAD (Maybe because they are working on it). I am looking at KPHX. Excellent Frame Rates smooth no stutters. It installed in the Addon Manager Library in P3D V4

Since the CPU is the main driving force for all the Flight Sims, all issues with increased performance relate to the performance of the CPU. I also had the motherboard that you spoke about. I have since traded up to 6700K with a Gigabyte Gaming 7 and 32MB ram. The most important part of my performance increase was the 6700K. Increased efficiencies in processing and use of the memory is the main difference between the different generations. Gen 7 processors have bigger and faster cache which ends up driving your flyability. The 6700K with Air can easily reach 4.5Ghz, not so much the speed but the silicon and design of these current gen processors.

This problem sounds like your ORBX scenery order is wrong or you have some other AFCAD or Airport on top of ESSA. Without see your Scenery.cfg hard to say.
