Brussels has a problem that causes 3gd.dll error, its seems to be a common error with longer routes that pass close by (Brussels vor) when that scenery is installed and there is no mention anywhere on how to fix it on any of the fs9 related forums. I have been forced to delete it to solve this error.

can anybody help me ...Why do I have white blocks in the new scenery for LKPR and how do I fix this,,it looks like I have missing scenery textures but I dont see any mention of what I need to add or where I get the files from...please help

I am hoping someone can help me as I have two overlapping river thames cutting throgh london, I have VFR london UTE and howards mix, how do I remove the rivers in these files or go about finding the offending files...thanks for any help

I have bought this voice product fot the fs9 ifly 737 I am unable to make it work as I dont think I have the voice recognition program that is needed. I have windows xp 64 and I am unable to get the voice program ti install. When i install the fs2voice into the ifly 737 it jumps about like mad. Please dont tell me to read the manual as I have followed it step by step and it will not work....I am at a complete loss into how to get it to work PLEASE HELP Geoff

Hi Im Back having just uninstalled fs9 and reinstalled as suggested to Comp-Flight sim and I am still not able to install into flight sim from the add-on file. If I go to scenery libraryAdd AreaAddon Scenery - (double click to open) and then click on a chosen scenery file and click OKit just opens the file to show the texture/scenery folders but it will not transfer it to the flight sim scenary area. I have no idea what I have done wrong so it still will not work Geoff

hello Jim I installed FS9 from thr main disk set..In the same way I have installed it on evry machine I have ever used...neve had this before as I said now I can not move the scenary area list, if I move tham around to get Ultimate terrain to the lowest level above addon scenery when I resart FS its all gone back again, and files I have loaded to the add on scenery will not load into the FS at all Not sure what you mean by doing the right thing and install FS9 outside of the Program Files folder?geoff

Hi I have just installed windows 7 and downloaded flight sim 9 again onto this new machine, I have now began the slow prossess of transfering all of my add on sceneries into the fresh install and my trouble is I am not able to get new scenery downloads into the flight sim. I have ran the .EXE for the scenery and it has loaded into the addon scenery file okay, some have installed directly into flight sim and these I can not move up or down in the priority list and get them to stay where i locate them, as each time i restart the flight sim program thay are back where the were placed on the original download. Also the scenery that has loaded into the add on scenery will not allow me to install it into the scenery area at all. Is this the norm with FS9 on windows 7 or do I need to do something else, I wish I had stayed with XP now Please help if you know what I need to do Geoff

Yes this is exactly what I am refering to........another wanabe developer speaking on behalf of PMDG Please read the bottom of Roberts statement and let PMDG give the final answer, I expect it to be for FSX only but no answer has been made as far as I know for sure. Hello Robert I have been waiting for this 737 ever since you first announced it was in development, You have since said that you will decide at a latter time nearer release as to what flightsim it will be made to work with...I have not seen a definative answer as yet from PMDG only speculative answers from what I would refer to as wanabe devs. Can you now say one way or the other as to what platforms this will work with as I have been looking for a final answer and can not find it from PMDG. I would say your problem is memory or lack of it, FS needs all the memory you can throw at it. I now have windows 64 with the 4gig switch turned on an 6 gig of ram. I used to get the lock up you describe anywhere near london heathrow, now I can fly there from anywhere in the world with the PMDG 747 and all the sliders maxed out with active sky in any conditions and with VFR london and both EGLL & EGKK from uk 2000 with out the slightest twitch. Get as much ram as your machine can handle with flight sim and you should be hot to trot I also have in excess of 400 ad ons and loads of additionl aircraft, so there is no magic limit its a matter of your machine fiding the correct files for the scenery area and as you get lower so the graphic loading incresses and the memory gets used up as your hard drive gets full.... Its your videocard drive that causes this. reinstall an older one if you have renewed it

I am hoping someone can help me as I am not able to figure out whats wrong with my conection to squawkbox with fs9. I have windows xp64 newly installed and I am trying to get back on line with squawkbox. I have installed SB3 and I have tried SB4 also but they both run into the same trouble as I end up with a message saying unable to initiate a multiplayer connection and squawkbox closes. I have rau the dxdiag test as instructed by SB and it shows all conections are working okay and routing correctly but SB will not connect to a multiplayer. I have tried manualy setting the IP address in fs9 multiplayer but thet does not detect any sessions to join either and I now do not know what I need to do. The squawkbox web site has no links to a solution to this problem....please help with step by step instructions if I need to alter the setting in the computer

Does the 737 work with Saitek controls. I have a registered version of FSUIPC but I can not get the speedbrake/spoilers to work at all. Has anyone got this to activate if so plese tell me how you set it up as I can not use this aircraft, and its only this one I can not figure out. Geoff :(

I have the current 737 and if you think its good,? well thats fine. I think it was good when it came out around five years ago, now I dislike it so much so I have deleted it and use the wilco 737. I have the Ariane 737 but it has developed a problem with the FMC causing it to CTD and Ariane have not done a thing to help so I can no longer use it. It does fly great when it works though which cant be said for the PMDG unless you want to fly it pushing buttons in the auto mode, but hands on and its crap, it will not work with fsuicp to get a lot of the controls external and it looks flat in the VC

If I had gennie and just one wish, I would wish for PMDG to release this 737 for FS9 even if it was just a watered down version without the bells a whistles like the HUD as there is no really good 737 with a good FMC for FS2004, ita about the most popular aircraft on vatsim and there is not a good one to fly...so thats my wish.!!!!!!....now if I had 3 wishes..........................................

Hi Dan I would also recomend going to google type in fps patch fs9 and download the file. It removes a lot of the un-nessasary landclass like road signs, burger bars, power masts etc and the frame rate goes up by around 15-20%. its free and well worth it. I have had better results with this than altering the cfg alone.Taken from Mango's FS9 Tips and Tricks guideLoad textures farther away to reduce blurries:Find these lines in FS9.cfg and change them to read:TERRAIN_DEFAULT_RADIUS=9.000000TERRAIN_EXTENDED_RADIUS=9.900000TERRAIN_EXTENDED_LEVELS=4Load textures fasterFind and edit:TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=I use 400. You can try a higher or lower setting to see what gives the best performance on your system. The default setting is very conservative so don't be afraid to try high values. I wanted the MD 11 when I first saw it was going to be made, however by the time it came out I had collected a few other large aircraft for use on FS9 so I never bought it as I had no need for one more long haul aircraft. I still only use fs9 as I have way too much invested and the improvments from fsx dont offer enough at this time to swop over. However I can state that there is still plenty of room for short range aircraft in fs9 as there are few availiable. the only good turboprop for fs9 is still the ATR from flight1 and the only good 737 is from wilco,!! Other than the PMDG 737 that was made for fs2000. I would have bought the J41 for fs9 and I would have paid in advance for a good 737. Please concider that one of the fact's that the MD11 fsx out sold the fs9 version is there was more room for fsx sale as there was far less quality aircraft availiable for that platform. I know all this has been thrashed around meny times but count me in for a garenteed fs9 sale should you decide to make it for us fs9ers,

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to change the standard transition level in fs9 from 18,000 ft to 6,000ft as in Europe most counties have the level set at 6,000. :(
