When you get the new rig up and going post your results. I use a 955 Processor and get very good performance from my machine. With FSX it always takes a bit of tweaking to get what you want. Remember to defrag after install.

Really a nice looking plane. I'm all ways excited when a new airplane is released. Thanks for the slides, Jose

Did you get it to work for you, Roberto? No problems now?

I actually don't want to provide a negative image for Airsimmer but I was never convinced from day one that their product was on par with PMDG. I believe that PMDG is the standard for which virtual airframes are built. Any other company regardless of name has a mighty big bar to hurdle. As for an Airbus, I think our virtual community needs a realistic Airbus. I would love to get a chance to fly one. I just don't think PMDG is the company to make it. If they dont produce one it gives the other companies a chance to compete in the virtual market......some day the Airbus will see some justice I just think we have a long wait ahead! I also don't recommend holding your breath for the airsimmer, my intuition says "stay clear"

That seems to be a common problem with everyone. I look forward to the challenge. -

I have not had good experience using payware and the "Shared Cockpit" idea. It works ok for the freeware (low realism) aircraft or specific payware that was written to incorperate their own Shared Cockpit.I to am one of those people that want to see more airplanes that allow the sharing of work load, im just not sure on how many others want this feature.

I hate to say it but what does this have to do with a PMDG product or support for a PMDG product?Did you want PMDG to release a car for its next add-on?

PMDG BAe JetStream 4100 Product overview
Aaron Buchanan replied to rsrandazzo's topic in PMDG General Forum
- We have elected not to develop a 2D cockpit for this product. This will displease some users who very much enjoy their 2D cockpit- but this is a design decision that allows us to focus our efforts on on greater levels of innovation by saving a significant amount of development time as well as system overhead. We are also in the process of putting together a comprehensive series of pre-defined view points that will make it easy to navigate and utilize the virtual cockpit.come on guys lets give them a chance. I am anxious to see some of the pre-defined view points that were mentioned when using the 3d panel. I don'y use 3d panels myself but perhaps this aircraft will give the the push to give it a go.-I can definitely relate to the odd angle of reading text on an FMC and trying to pan around with a hat switch. The MD-11 has a few 3D cockpit views points that make it easier to manipulate and read gauges. I am currently trying to experiment more with the 3D view concept on a few other aircraft. -
MD-11 Multiplayer - shared cockpit
Aaron Buchanan replied to hansen's topic in PMDG MD-11 (Legacy Version)
The MD-11 was never developed as a shared cockpit software release. I have only seen the default planes and a very limited few payware aircraft perform shared cockpit.-So I would say it isnt a bug (was never designed to work like that) and if it isn't a bug then it can not be fixedI would love a shared cockpit but perhaps that ability will make its way into the PMDG's future software. After all if we want the best, PMDG will end up making it. -
Now that is a dream...I have to contain myself from trying to reach through the monitor and manipulate all the beautifully rendered knobs and switches!PMDG you guys never disappoint me and I look forward to learning a new airframe, keep up the good work
-
You and I both brother!
-
You can always have it load with engines running and ready to go!I hope in the future you get the oppurtunity to load it Cold and Dark and learn this systems...the MD-11 is quite enjoyable after you learn the ins and outs.Good luck to you sir!

that is an interesting question, though I am no expert in what makes Flight sim crash it seems to be related alot of the time to >2 gigs of ram. As far as the computer ultimately shutting down that tends to lead me to the fact that you may have a hardware issue. I know that power supplies are notorious for causing CTD and blue screens of death if the are a poorly made unit.

What aircraft are you using?

Alexei,I would suggest that you make a posting in the Level D forum, because PMDG is not the manufacturer of the LVLD and this forum is for PMDG products and information.Unoffical Forumhttp://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showforum=137
