Well its nice to see an over all pleasent response to the status of the NGX. Nice to see that the FS Sim community still has understanding and open minded people.When PMDG said they were to release a new version of the NGX I was like "YES". Figured it would get alot of attention just because of the aircraft's history and the availablity to the aviation market. Im sure everyone will be happy when the product is released and we all get a chance to climb into the captains chair of our new bird.

Actually I am thinking we could all benefit from a vacation. I don't think its good for the human soul to sit at our computers and hit the refresh button over and over. See my case studies results below: I have confirmed that constantly refreshing the forum page does not bring any new information on the NGX nor does it shorten the release date.

Be patient Jedi Warriors. We all know the NGX is coming, lets just wait till the official date.You're the man George!

Lets not make this a debate on which country does what.Then again why are we discussing A380 on a commerical software companies forum that doesn't (or not yet) build a single airbus?

Yes I have never had a problem getting up to the front on an alaska flight. I always asked before they boarded the plane and I was allowed to bored first to talk to the pilots. NG knowledge is a must and explain to them how you know so much about their plane (if not they get scared). I even had the pilot climb from the seat so I could get a picture.

You could do that, but im sure you can afford the legal ramifications that will follow as well!

Well with the release of the ACES team, the decline in simulator enthusiast, and the over bearing generation of console users I do not have high hopes for MS Flight. We are so much of an instant gratification society that a detailed flight simulator from a major software developer just seems out of the question.disclosure: All talking points and options are mine alone with no substantial proof

If your like me the answer is...if you have to ask you probably can't afford it ;)it looks like a good system though.

I think at this stage in development things must be gone well, because no one from PMDG has said they are not. Don't read into stuff just because there isn't a screenshot posted yet or a lack of bi-weekly forum post from the team.Just go with the facts : PMDG development team has said things are progressing, and it will release when they are satisfied with the product.

Nice to be back on the forums. Looks like the project is advancing quite nicely. I can't wait till I get to take her out for a spin!

I am sure after their release of the current project there will be an announcement of projects in the works.

another part to build my panel.Very nice looking and we welcome the screen shots. I look forward to the completion of the 737NGX.

I love how you can see the little set screw for the knob. That is amazing work.With enough screen strips you can build the panel from all the post, just splice them together. Functionality is a different matter though.

One thing that people often find amazing is the level of ambient noise created from electronic equipment cooling. Small electronics in small spaces need alot of cooling to provide reliable usage.I really enjoy the sound set on the MD-11

I am 37 Years old and have been in the Navy since 1990. I am currently stationed in Connecticut onboard the USS Missouri which is the newest ships being commisiioned. I have been into flight simulators since C-64 days but really didn't get serious about it until around 2002, of course I have may older versions of FS I just had no idea what to do with them. Now that I have located the market I am hooked. I would love to fly for an occupation after retiring from the Navy but I also realize that I am about 20 years to late to start.I enjoy all things airplane and computer related.
