  1. Only on AVSIM can you take a thread from P3d features to forming a music group somehow. By the way there are those new AVSIM groups http://forum.avsim.net/groups/
  2. Ah man, I've tried out the 50th. Beautiful tone. I have a custom shop 69 strat. ( the pickups are the only real difference from the American strat)
  3. That is an altitude restriction. If there is a specific lower speed for that waypoint, it will show a circle. Remember that on the 777, the FMS does not change the speed on final approach per waypoint based on VREF as the NGX does. (Page 137 intro manual. Flight management computer section) For approach, you have to decide when to slow down. In the second screenshot, there is a specific speed set in the FMS to slow down to for the next waypoints.
  4. A 767 is ideal in my opinion. While the LDS is far too old for me, I think LVLD will bring out the 757 within the time PMDG releases the project after the 747V2.
  5. https://www.facebook.com/pilotclientproject http://forums.vatsim.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=61678 <- the forum thread for the project By the way, they chose a name for the project. It's called Swift.
  6. Are you referring to the two monsters below the wing? Or the speaker test that makes most new users soil themselves? 'Kinda vague if you don't explain the sound.
  7. Carl, Thanks for sharing your experiences with the SP. I as well as all of us are very exited and rather impatient for it. A suggestion, if you're going to take screenshots, can you use a method that doesn't make the shots blurry? I think you may be using the V key. A few methods I use; 1. Use a capturing program such as Fraps to capture screenshots. Or... 2.Print screen button on your keyboard-> paste into the paint program and save as JPG. Thanks!
  8. Fslabs are light speed compared to a certain developer who claimed to be making a 757 almost a decade ago but don't give even the slightest update or reassurance of its development for years. *cough* ?
  9. Yeah. Welp, I'm outta this forum for a while. [Hibernation]
  10. Careful there, buddy. Y' don't wanna tread there with other people on this forum.
  11. Driverab330, Thanks for that info, but it doesn't answer my question at all. I'm not sure if I worded my initial question properly. I'm Referring to the initial EGT roll after fuel is introduced, and that in the PMDG 777, it always peaks at a certain temperature, regardless of atmospheric conditions. Basically, like a predetermined animation. But if SP1 addresses this issue, then no worries but then again thanks for the info.
  12. Not really a few, but literally + or - 1 degree, which I always felt was just odd. Anyways I hope the SP will have it vary a little more.
  13. Exactly why I doubt it can be so consistent.
  14. How's it going everyone. A quick question, please. I've been searching this in the T7 documentation but could not find the answer to my curiosity. So, I've been noticing that at every normal engine start, the EGT seems to always peak at 556-557 in the EGT reading. And this doesn't seem to be affected by Outside air temperature at all. Now, I am unaware if the EEC has anything to do with limiting the EGT to a certain point at every start, but I wonder if this is either just a pre-determined EGT animation or a realistic implementation. Thanks. David
  15. Did you even ask anyone at PMDG to engage in such a business? Let along modify the software?
  16. Because that requires wayy too much energy.
  17. I figure the censored projects were the Dc6 and the V2. But that was a while back...
  18. Think about this, if they have "nothing to show us", or "no news at the moment", after all these years post-announcement, imagine how FAR from finished the project is.
  19. Yeah it won't happen. Why? Beats me. But many people have wondered the same. That horse is beyond beaten. It's now fully decomposed.
  20. *The simmer's perception of realism. Exactly my point. There are many folks who can't recreate in their mind what they saw on an airplane, so they take REX as realistic because it is advertised that way.
  21. Active sky next But anywho- the problem is that realistic is in the eye of the simmer. Everyone has a different perception of realism. As an example, some folks love ridiculous enb bloom to the point where the sky is completely white. Some folks like Rex 4's insanely alien blue-blue water textures. ( not saying its bad, I just don't like the presets) What I do is I choose my textures based on what I've experienced, not what they say is realistic. A proper sky texture set that correctly displays light scattering at dawn/dusk. ( THE HORIZON IS NOT BLOOD RED AFTER SUNSET "*cough*-Rex...." An ocean color that's just the right about of blue. Smooth cloud texture to fit every type of weather scenario.
